Fandango does NOT value their customers!
I ordered tickets to go see The Long Walk 2 10 days in advance via Fandango for a 3:20pm showing. However when I got there the theater mgmt made me aware that Fandango should have reached out to me to let me know that the movie time was CHANGED a whole HOUR earlier (2:10pm). Fandango customer service "escalated" my issue and I was given a 3-5 business day resolution. It's now been 6 business days and still no word. Do NOT buy from Fandango - they do not value their customers.

About a month before the new Superman movie came out, the Fandango Fanstore ran a bundle sale for it that included a movie ticket, a hat, a poster and a special comic book that was limited to 1000 copies. I am a life long comic book nerd. I have five kids who share my love for comics to one degree or another so I purchased six of the bundles for over $350. The only thing I truly purchased the bundles for was the comic books, as I wanted each of my kids to have one. I was pretty excited, no lie. It took over a month and a half to receive their package. It was delivered to my doorstep and I opened it almost immediately (my beautiful Great Dane freaked out when the delivery was made).
When I opened the package (you guessed it) they shipped everything but the comic books). I called their customer support line and they said that,since they source out their delivery and packaging to a third party service, once delivery is made and regardless of what was sent, they are no longer responsible for the package. READ THIS AGAIN. Once delivery is made, regardless of what was sent, they have no further responsibility. So I asked, if I was mailed a completely EMPTY box, I have no recourse? Yes, was the answer.
I tried to file "stop charge" claim with my credit card company, but Fandango claimed ALL the items were sent and I lost the claim. So, I spent $360 on some hats that I do not want, some posters that I do not want, and I did get six tickets to a movie. I will NEVER purchase anything with Fandango again. Their treatment of my claim was awful. The timeliness of their delivery was awful. They claimed I had received everything that I had purchased.
If you purchase ANYTHING from the Fandango Fanstore, just know that there is nothing you can do about it if they mail you the wrong thing or even NOTHING AT ALL. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Bad login information.
Tried to login on my PC to get enter code for my TV. All I got was malicious hardware on my PC! It has always been a chore to login, but this was a new low. I uninstalled it altogether and I won't be back!
Ordering Snacks ahead of time - don't do it!
I preordered tickets as well as well as snacks weeks in advance of the show. The day of the show, I printed out my tickets and looked for my snack order, didn't see it. Went to the movies and bought snacks there. Came out of the movie and saw a text on my phone about the snacks (after the movie). Called to see if I could get a refund or an exchange, and it was a no go. $30. down the drain. Will NOT be a Fandango customer any longer.

App didn't work. No CS support. Issued to wrong theatre. Fandango refused to issue credit IN APP. BUY YOUR TICKETS FROM THE THEATER - NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE -- AND THEY CHARGE FEES!!!

I had purchased tickets on the Fandango website and the website timed out and I was unable to scan the code or input a email. I was charged for the tickets but had to buy them again at the movie theater I went too. Was told to contact fandango customer support and request a refund. I did so and mind you I was already in the theater watching the movie and was told I should have done it 20 mins before the movie started! No one told me this and the young lady kept saying there was nothing they could do for refund that it was greyed out and I asked for a accommodation for a voucher since they took my money and I paid twice because of their website and she would not. I have used Fandango multiple times and never had this happen to me. If they can’t help customers out they need to not have a shitty website. They do not accommodate for the customers to supplement for the loss of money. Their customers need to be taught how to work in a call center. Horrible I will not buy any more tickets from them.

We accidentally ordered tickets for a movie that already started and was meant for the show the following night. They would not exchange or refund the money. I hate these people. $50 just gone. Then when I tried to delete the account it says that I can not fully delete the account and that they can obtain what information they want and I am only able to delete certain areas. How is this even legal. DO NOT USE FANDANGO!!

This is a shitty business. It's the first time in my life that I've had to call (after I stated I didn't want to call and they forced me to do it) and answer a bunch of questions to delete my account. I felt harassed by Fandango—creepy business.

Fandango has terrible reviews and it is no wonder. I too would give it negative 5 stars if I could. They stole my gift card balance money. $106.38. They wouldn’t allow me access to the cards . I had the numbers of the cards but didn’t have the physical cards anymore. Keep in mind you have 90 days to use the cards anymore or they deactivate it. Crook bastards.

I contacted customer service and Calvin spoke with me.
He asked for all of my information confirmation number, movie time, card number that I used just to tell me that he cannot give me a refund. Wasted 10 minutes of my time on hold gave him all my information just to be told no. I’ve used Fandango for years and I’ve probably purchased hundreds of tickets. I will never again be using this third-party. I highly recommend nobody go through this third-party company. They will steal your money.

Absolute GARBAGE customer service. Unable to exchange or refund before movie time, could not access account, password reset email never came, chat was never answered, sent request through website, said wait 3 days to get a response, called customer service line when it was rejected, was told it was because I waited more than a day. Then told they “couldn’t” escalate it, then finally said they “did” escalate it, gave me a case number and ghosted me. Deleting the app and will never click another fandango link ever again. It cost me over $80 to purchase 2 tickets to one movie.

The Worst Customer Service
Supposedly, you get a $5 promo reward credit when you see enough movies bought through them. I tried to use the promo code several times, only to be met by an error message. I called Four separate times, without satisfaction. The first 2, I could hardly understand their thick accents. The 3rd, I understood her perfectly, despite her accent. Thought she was solving the problem. NOPE. Just got email stating I need to call and have my credit card handy. F that. Enough time wasted. Enough aggravation. Over FIVE dollars. I'm canceling my AMC Stubs & association with Fandango. Awful
I purchased the WWE Summerslam package
I purchased the WWE Summerslam package, which included a t-shirt, and I emailed the fan store asking about my t-shirt. Their response was ( We can not ship the item due to our partner not fulfilling their end of the contract. Number one, I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from the Fan Store ever again, or Fandango for that matter. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of and then being given excuses as to why they can fulfill their end of the contract. I PAID for an item, and all they can do is give me some lame excuse to not deliver. This experience with this site is a huge RED FLAG for me and I will go back to my other movie ticket app, which makes sure that the items they sell are delivered in a timely fashion.
Playback error came up
Playback error came up. There was no help fixing it. The Geek Squad at Best Buy said the problem was on the Fandango end. I passed this info on to them and nothing happened.

Fandango at home should have a refund policy
Fandango at home was always a pretty good streaming service until Roku stopped supporting their streaming app now it’s hard pressed to find a streaming stick or unit that will support the fandango at home app so for all these years, they’ve collected money for digital rights to watch movies and they don’t care when you start having problems with their app. There should be a refund policy for all the money I’ve spent with them and getting zero customer service. And I’ll be willing to bet the fine print keeps me from getting any of my money back since I can no longer watch the product I purchased unless I watch it on an iPhone as long as it’s not a Roku player. It would be nice if their technical service knew a workaround for the Roku stick and the customer not having to figure this out for themselves. You can tell that their service department has no clue because when the customer already has tried everything the technical service has come up with and the problem still persist that’s pretty sad technical service which means they are paying probably nothing for the technical service.

If I could give no Stars I would. Bought tickets to a show continued to get alerts straight from Fandango that the show was coming up and fixing to start. The theater was closed did not have the movie showing at that time. We drove an hour round trip to go. Called to get a refund because the refund on the ap wouldn't work. They refunded the tickets but not the service charge. They said they provided service and never refund service charges any reason. Spoke to supervisor. Never again will I use them.
