The wort bus company ever. Buses never showed up. Very unreliable made me late to work multiple times. No explanation or warning that the bus was going to be late. Shit company and service as well.
Another no show 14 bus today
Another no show 14 bus today. Approximately 20% are no shows, very late/ cancelled without notice. The app is hopeless here as it only shows some routes, some of the time, but Not the ones I use. Even the notice boards in Swansea bus station are so often incorrect, missing buses, wrong platforms. Buses rarely have (working) stop information on board, to update passengers on where they are on their trip. How hard is it to roll out an actual working live system that is available in so many UK places and so many other countries??

First Bus charged my daughter multiple times despite her having a Weekly Saver. Submitted refund requests within 90 days via the portal — only one trip refunded (£2.80), other overcharges (~£35) ignored. Portal doesn’t acknowledge submissions, app took card payments instead of recognising Weekly Saver. Extremely stressful, poor customer service.

How on God's green earth is this company still running? Absolute scam. Brought a week pass around FAREHAM and was told that getting to work in FAREHAM was not working for my FAREHAM ticket because "it isn't in the boundaries" Oh, I'm sorry? Are we not in Fareham??? How are passengers supposed to actually know this, when the ticket itself says you can go around Fareham, to then be told - oh no, your Fareham ticket is not working in Fareham. So sorry. Let us scam you with another ticket that probably won't work either.

I complained about this a 3 months ago and for a couple of months issue was resolved. Bus from Basildon Station is to depart at 8.35 daily. You have a contract with Fiserv to drop off their staff to the office at Janus House Endevour Drive. The bus arrives way before at 8.35 but the replacement drivers dont turn up until 8.40 to 8.45. What is wrong with your company and managemnet. Why do keep having to be told!

I have used firstbus for about 20yrs. There service got worse and so have the attitude if lots of there drivers.useb1 1amost days.many missed buses.drivers used to be nice on the whole. Still have some but to many are checky.i no hard job but some of them should not be near the public.

I had to use Firstbus to & from work as I was unable to drive in the icy road conditions. Both buses were on time. Each journey took approximately ten minutes. The very downside to this was the disgusting fare. I was charged £5.60, using the 'tap on - tap off method, both ways, just to travel twenty minutes. I feel £11.20 is a complete disgrace. I would use that over three to four days in my car. While it is handy to have access to bus services, I feel Firstbus need to look at their prices - especially on very short journeys. The greater Glasgow area is one of the most expensive areas to travel in. People should not have to spend a good bit of their earned pay on extortionate bus fares.
The No 90
The No 90 , 14.58 was due at Byres road next to Waitrose, but shot passed the stop ignoring those waiting. I was undeterrred and ran to the next bus stop, botanic gardens. The number 8 had just arrived so again the driver of the 90 just ran right passed! The driver seemed to be racing the number 8. This is a poor service as there is only one bus that passes high Ruchill.
I would like this looked at as it always occurs at 14.58!

For the first bus bus 3 & 4 are absolutely horrible they don’t come on time especially around 5/6pm because sometimes that’s when i finish college and when i arrived cribbs causeway expecting a bus to take me home they be just coming and go back saying not in service, like 3 buses in a row which makes me goes home late and disappointed.
Untrustworthy
Took several incorrect charges on my card for bus trips, made it intentionally extremely difficult to claim it back. When I finally did get refunds, no real explanation of what was happening. Very untrustworthy company.
Don’t respond to complaints
Buses don’t turn up and now buses have been cut from the timetable. People rely on these buses on our route, they are full at peak times so no reason to cut them. The buses frequently break down. Profits are clearly not spent on new buses/improving anything, yet passes are not cheap. I politely asked them why they’d cut the service and they deleted my comment. I completely understand all the other comments I’ve just read from other angry customers. The councils push people to use public transport to be green. What a joke!
