Sales and delivery staff very professional
Very knowledgeable staff to help navigate the enormous selection in store, without feeling pressured to buy. Delivery crew were professional and courteous, very careful to avoid damaging anything. Unpacked sofas and cushions and removed all the packaging.

A great experience of furniture shopping.
The shop has a huge range of furniture and excellent quality. The prices are far more reasonable than many of the larger national companies and the quality of products at Fishpools is far superior.
George the sales person was very informative and more than helpful. So new sofas and soon new garden furniture!

Great bed.
I purchased my bed - wansford ortho bed set- in February. I waited to post a review to comment on sleep satisfaction. I’ve slept on the bed for 3 months now and I’m pleased with the comfort and support. The look of the bed is great, with good quality, stylish upholstery. Debbie in the showroom was really helpful and answered our questions. The price in the sale was good value. The delivery men were punctual and efficient, and good humoured. Overall the experience was good and I’d recommend Fishpools to others.

Misleading product description - zero accountability
Very disappointing experience with Fishpools.
I purchased the Glacier dining table specifically because it was marketed as having a resilient surface resistant to everyday wear and tear. Within just 3 months of normal household use, the surface developed visible hairline scratches.
When I raised this concern, Fishpools repeatedly dismissed the complaint by focusing on whether it was a manufacturing defect, despite me making it clear that my issue was with the misleading durability claims used to sell the product.
The most shocking part of their response was being told that plates, crockery and cutlery will “of course” cause scratches when placed on the surface.
So let me understand this correctly — a dining table advertised as resistant to everyday wear and tear cannot withstand normal dining use without scratching?
Had this been made clear before purchase, I would never have purchased this product.
Poor aftercare, contradictory responses, and very disappointing product quality. I would think twice before purchasing from Fishpools and do NOT recommend.
At no stage have I ever claimed that the table should be immune from scratching, that is what your product description states. A table marketed as resilient and resistant to everyday wear and tear should withstand ordinary dining use without developing visible scratching. I remain firm in my position and will continue pursuing every available consumer rights available until this matter is resolved appropriately, whether through a replacement tabletop or a full refund and you can collect the dining table. It is difficult not to notice that despite repeatedly rejecting my concerns privately, Fishpools only chose to take further action once this matter became public. And i will continue pursuing this matter until it is sorted.
They have sent out a technician and have of course claimed that the damage is in house. So now I am in the process of filing a chargeback.

Following your contact with our Customer Services team, we explained that the marks reported were not present at the time of delivery and, as such, would not be considered a manufacturing defect under the terms of the product warranty. We also advised that, regardless of a product’s durability, we always recommend the use of placemats, table protectors and similar items to help protect furniture surfaces during everyday use.
We note your concerns regarding the product description and, although we do not agree that the description suggests the table is immune from scratching or damage under all circumstances, we have arranged an independent inspection as a gesture of goodwill to further investigate the matter. Once we have received the technician’s report, we will review the findings and contact you to discuss the outcome.
