Aftersales/Service Centre absolutely rubbish, issue after issue and they take no responsibility. You would think spending 14k on a caravan they would look after the customer for repeat business, never buying a caravan from Glossop again just because of the aftersales.

A year with having the caravan, they found issues that should of been picked up on the service before we bought it.
There was damp in the bathroom, which was a skylight issue. Paid for, took the caravan home and after a few weeks of it been fixed i noticed water coming from another sky light which has never happened before, i got told it was due to bad and i would have to pay for it to be fixed?
Absolutely frustrated with the aftersales team.

Brilliant sales team, but the aftercare is shockingly poor.

Two years after purchase of our brand new caravan, we are still dealing with unresolved issues – and every time our caravan goes into their service centre, it comes back with additional problems.

Not once have we even received an apology for the repeated inconvenience, wasted journeys, or the consistently substandard workmanship.

The workshop manager is particularly disappointing: rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to accept any responsibility for the ongoing faults created by his own team. The contrast between the excellent sales experience and the appalling aftercare is staggering.

The only genuinely helpful employee appears to be Adam at the service centre. He has been supportive every time we’ve dropped off or collected the van, and it’s clear he’s doing his best to pick up the pieces left by his colleagues and management team. We genuinely feel sorry for him, as he is professional, polite, and tries to help despite the ongoing problems that keep arising after every visit.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using their service department to think twice. The frustration simply isn’t worth it.

Back in 2014 my late husband and I bought a Peugeot Autosleeper from Glossop Caravans. It broke down on its first outing with a clutch failure, also battery continuously dead, returned for repairs including new control panel. Passenger seat belt not working - that's dangerous - green mould all over the roof - whole litany of problems. But you think it's a one-off, till it happens again. So, a relative bought a motorhome from them in Jan 2024 (it failed its MOT immediately!), and found it had constant problems - battery dead (accessories not properly connected), door locking issues, water where it shouldn't be; as result the van was not used much, took it for sale this year, and it turned out to be 99% damp and corroded underneath with corroded contacts for gas boiler which could have blown up or asphyxiated sleepers. No gas or electricity safety certs. THE WARRANTY IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING, IT WILL NOT BE HONOURED. When a bad review was posted here, Glossop Caravans bought back the van but at a loss of over £10,000. Be warned! You might be lucky and have a good experience with them, but it should not be luck. There are plenty of honest reliable and competent dealers, go elsewhere.

Firstly, amazed at the size of the place, fantastic staff, I visited the shop for a spare part which they didn't have in stock, bit they advised me to visit their workshop down the road, a lovely lady found what I needed and I can't complain about the price, I'll be going there again.
