Great Western Camping is a specialist Outdoor and Ski retailer. We stock an extensive range of clothing and equipment for walkers, skiers and climbers. Our brands include Patagonia, Salomon, Rab, Scott, Head, DMM, Petzl Dolomite and Salewa. We are a family run, independent retailer and pride ourselves in good customer service. Our shop in Dorchester was established in 1986 and has twice been a winner of the Outdoor Industry Association’s outdoor retailer of the year award.

Fast, friendly, great service
I placed an order online on Sunday afternoon, and it was dispatched first on Monday. It arrived well packaged, with a nice "thank you for your custom" note too. The price was competitive, the item arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, and they used UPS so I didn't need to worry about someone like Evri losing the parcel. I'd definitely order from them again.

Quick service and no quibble return policy 10/10
I purchased an item that was to big for me, I returned it and unfortunately did not have the next size down, I returned the item by courier on Saturday and they refunded my account by Tuesday lunchtime. When I ordered the item in question it was also a quick service. I will check with these guys on a regular basis and no doubt I will order through them again.

I think this is a little harsh, sometimes human errors can be made or the item has been sold or stolen so our stock isn't always as up to date as we would like. I did send you an email with an apology saying that the item you ordered was out of stock and offered an alternative and then refunded you immediately so your money didn't enter my account.
