The process for requesting a repair was so simple to do online through my phone and all required documents were clearly explained.
I had to provide further information for my repair and Handler were very quick to respond to me to explain what was outstanding to process my claim.
I and a phone call with Cian Roe who was super friendly and he explained my cover to me. It was nice to speak to a human and I appreciate the personal touch.

Bought a car 3 months ago from a dealership, and having handlers protect as the warranty has worked out great. I unfortunately had my radiator go on the vehicle and it is in need of replacement. I got a hold of Handler Protect on advice about setting up a claim form. I found the gentleman on the phone very helpful and respectful, and he sent me a link to start the application after the call. Ensuring that I attach documents regarding a diagnosis and prices. Within 2 days, I had a lovely gentleman called Cian Roe, who was very helpful and organised payment to be sorted. I would recommend this warranted business. I had an excellent and professional service. Thank you.

Simple telephone conversation explaining what the process was of making a claim, very easy to follow claim form.
Called me within a few days explaining what happened next regarding my repair and what I was entitled to claim for.

I had a timing belt go ( well in the recommended times by ford ) rang handler while that was being done I had it repaired told them I had it done as I needed it to get to work but they said they needed to see it first , I showed them the pictures of damaged components and receipt of works done they refused to honor the warranty now with the motor ombudsman.
I would not touch this company at all they are con artists

Stay clear of this company everyone. They take your money and then do everything they can to not honour the warranty. They ask for the criteria which I provided regarding a detailed diagnosis from my mechanic and then condescendingly stated that they would need to send an engineer out to verify my mechanics diagnosis. My mechanic has been holding my car for over a month now while I continue to battle with handler protect. He’s appalled by their behaviour and said even he will be leaving a review on trust pilot advising everyone to stay clear.
He was highly offended and felt that his profession and intelligence in his field was being rudely challenged at the idea of handler protect sending an engineer to the garage to scrutinise his diagnosis. His words were to me that handler protect where showing clear signs of avoiding the claim by constantly counteracting the multiple appeals that we had made with obvious, loophole, futile attempts to deter me away — which they have finally succeeded in doing. My car has been waiting with my mechanic for over a month, how does anyone expect me to or my mechanic to continue to hold my only car, while I hire a car and waste my hard earned money. I stress to everyone, to stay clear of this company, do not take out a warranty policy with them regardless of the good reviews on here which could likely be bias.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Handler Protect. Their customer service is outstanding, always prompt with replies and consistently professional. I received a call from Cian, who clearly explained the whole process and provided all the information I needed. It was handled in a very professional manner from start to finish. I’m very happy with the service and would highly recommend them.

I’ve been dealing with Emma for our warranties and can honestly say she has been absolutely brilliant. Nothing is ever too much trouble. She always there on the other side of the phone to help, friendly and goes out of her way to sort things out for us. Absolute garbage my coil spring snapped which took out the shock and the top mount ...still in warranty when I phoned they told me none of this was covered I only had my car 2/3 months also my front head light led broke not covered ... I don't think they actually cover anything then had the cheek to email me when my warrenty was nearly up and said I could renew for £303 .. I'm not made of money to just hand it out to a company that doesn't do what they are intended to do . Unfortunately I phoned both times so I don't have dates of my conversations .

Awarding one star for the sheer creativity of their claim rejections. My claim was refused because the failure was apparently "wear and tear" and not a "sudden mechanical failure". Of course, they also don't cover car accidents.
So, to be clear, they've excluded both things that can actually happen to a car. I'm genuinely curious what mythical circumstance would ever lead to a successful claim.
Below is the copy of decline reason given by handler:
From the information provided to support this claim it has not been deemed a sudden failure but an ongoing issue which is not what the warranty is there to cover. The diagnosis provided stated that " the parts life ended naturally " which is not what the repair plan is there to cover
Based on the information provided this claims decision has been upheld and this claim is declined.
The reason for this decision is as follows:
-Page 7 (Point 4.) Means the sudden and unexpected failure (given the car's age and mileage) of a component arising from any permanent mechanical or electronic fault, which causes the component to stop working, and means that it needs repairing or replacing. This failure is due to age and not a sudden failure.
For full details of what components are covered by your Repair Plan, please refer to pages 4 and 5 of your Gold Cover document. For a full list of what is not covered in your plan, please refer to pages 9 and 10.

This company never pays out. Their policy is written in the way that is impossible to claim.
They make cushy deals with car dealers and as a customer you feel protected. I'd never pay for this warranty if I had an option, but unfortunately I didn't.
