Not a reliable product - Don't buy
Just over ten years ago, as we entered our seventies, my wife and I paid a great deal for a Harrison Spinks 14000 Diamond mattress and divan, expecting it to last us for the rest of our lives. Now, as we enter our eighties, it needs replacing. Despite carefully following the maintenance instructions, much of the top filling has migrated to the centre, leaving us feeling as though we are sliding / rolling toward the edge of the bed—very uncomfortable. We now have to find a replacement, and it certainly will not be Harrison Spinks. I strongly recommend that others avoid wasting their money on this brand.
As requested by HS I contacted them with the expectation that I would get some help and advice. How wrong can one be! Their response was of no help whatsoever so my original opinion stands. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MANUFACTURER. IN MY EXPERIENCE THEIR PRODUCTS ARE UNRELIABLE. AS IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM.

We purchased the mattress through an online supplier. We had previously purchased a rolled up mattress from a different supplier that was very poor in comfort and quality and was returned. Harrison Spink mattress is very well made and very comfortable. We are at last having a great night's sleep.

Great quality mattress
The mattress is good quality and probably the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, firm without being painful or difficult to turn, it's pretty much perfect!

Lovely comfortable sleep
We like our new bed very much. The delivery from Dreams was excellent. Very good customer service.
I am slightly concerned that there is a ridge in the middle of the topper, but have read that this is normal.

The topper is like a large pillow which, requires plumping, turning, and rotating on a regular basis which, will help with a more even settlement of the fillings across the sleep surface.

It is worth noting that comfort is subjective and personal to the individual, which is why we offer a wide variety of products to meet different needs and preferences.
Natural fillings can compact a little and settle over time and as such, are a feature of our mattresses. You can liken this to a pair of leather shoes, that will relax, soften, and often become more comfortable after a little use.
Occasional turning (depending on the model) and/or rotating will help to ensure even settlement across the entire sleep surface.

New sleep experience
This is a new experience for us as had a previous sponge mattress with no support . The new mattress gives us all the support we require - what a difference with her sleep.

Poor customer service
I had a £600 credit to use at one of their Retailers. I wanted a specific Harrison Spinks Mattress, but they said that one could only be bought from a different Retailer. This is definitely not good customer service. I just don't get it. For every mattress the Retailer orders it and it is fulfilled by Harrison Spinks. So if I want my specific Harrison Spinks mattress I have to forfeit my £600 credit.

Our Harrison products are supplied with a 5-year guarantee and 5-year extended warranty. Where an issue is raised with us during the warranty period we aim to repair where possible or dependent on the defect, offer an allowance to the retailer which is based on the usage of the product.
If you wish to escalate your complaint, we kindly ask that you liaise further with your retailer directly, as your purchase contract is with them and they are the ones who will work with you and investigate the matter to reach a conclusion.
Should they wish to call upon our services then they will reach out to us directly and we will of-course assist them.

5 stars most definitely
Upgraded to this mattress because our other one (not a Harrison Spinks mattress), which we had bought 6 weeks before had dipped so badly that we felt we had to complain to the store that we bought it from. They agreed to replace and it was well worth paying the extra money for this mattress. It is really comfortable and hasn't shown any signs of dipping. We've deliberately not written a review until we had slept on the mattress for nearly 3 months.
It is a very heavy mattress and needs 2 people to turn and rotate (this only needs to be done for the first 3 months, then turn every 6 months thereafter). I would definitely recommend.

Sunken Mattress/Nonsense Warranty
We bought a "Luxury, Egyptian Cotton 5900" (spring) Mattress and Divan 5 years old and we are now replacing (from a different manufacturer). The mattress has sunk in the middle to a V shape, so much so as to be unusable (you roll to the middle) The bed is only used occasionally as a spare or for snoring purposes, I would guess 1 day a month absolute max, my wife and I are average weight. We complained after two years that the bed has sunk considerably and a contractor to John Lewis visited for a second time today to judge again that the mattress is be within specification (whatever that means), in our minds making nonsense of Harrison Spinks 7 year warranty. Our last main bed, a ViSpring lasted 23 years and looked prefect before we replaced with the same. Either buy cheap of get the best would be my recommendation, not a Harrison Spinks.

All our mattresses experience settlement during their lifetime (even from day 1). This is a characteristic of a naturally filled mattress. As most people sleep in the same position every night, body impressions are felt more in these areas. We recommend following our mattress care guide, with regards to turning (if dual sided) and rotating to minimise impressions and to help ensure even settlement.
The level of settlement is dependent upon several factors such as age, model type, and usage. When a mattress inspection is carried out, an industry standard plumb line test is conducted across several areas. Also, the suitability and condition of the base is taken into consideration.
We work closely with our retailers to offer the best possible service and if a manufacturing fault is found, under our guarantee, a product would be replaced.
If you wish to escalate your complaint, in such cases, we respectfully request that you report back directly to your retailer, as they hold your purchase contract.

Great bed and mattress
I bought this bed and mattress as I wanted a good mattress so I could get a decent night's sleep.well I certainly slept well the first night I slept on it and have continued to sleep alot better.The mattress is realy comfortable and just what I needed.

My Sahara mattress is my perfect oasis
After years of being too hot at night I had set criteria for my new mattress. It had to be all natural materials, pocket sprung and able to be turned over, not just turned round. I found that the Harrison Spinks Sahara mattress matched all these essential features so I bought one. It has a summer side and a winter side, each with a wool layer. I've had it since March and I absolutely love it and can't wait to go to bed. I sleep so well on it. In winter I used a wool mattress cover on it and I was snug and warm. Now the weather is so hot I have a bamboo mattress cover and a Tencel sheet and I stay cool all night. My bed frame is old and I have turned the bed slats over to give the mattress better support - saggy bed slats make the mattress look saggy too. This mattress is beautifully made and so comfortable, It is absolutely just what I was looking for and I am so happy.
