I ordered the DVD before release date and I was kept informed of the progress of my order.
It arrived safely and before the date I was told. So that is why I have given it 5 stars.

Finding an old movie
I wanted to purchase a particular old dvd that wasn't in store. The assistant was extremely helpful, found and ordered the item in. 3 days later I received notification that it was ready to collect. Great service and so much cheaper than the usual massive online retailers.

Great customer service.
The staff at the Leicester store went above and beyond just to make me happy and made sure my purchase was in the best possible condition for me to enjoy. This was a nice touch and I thank HMV for this experience.

Five star service from HMV...again.
I ordered two CDs from HMV which I could purchased from Amazon for the same price.However,one of these discs would have taken seven mouths to deliver though Amazon.So,I ordered this and another CD,which gave me free delivery.Both albums arrived promptly,perfectly package and in excellent condition ,as you would expect a CD to be.I have ordered items from HMV before and I would not hesitate to do so again.So.FIVE stars.

HMV pre-order record …
I was informed via email that the parcel containing my pre-ordered record had been dispatched and then the next day that it was ready to collect at the HMV branch I payed for it at. I arrived that day to pick it up. I showed my latest email and purchase receipt to the man behind the counter and he immediately found my parcel. He was friendly and efficient. It was a very satisfactory transaction. I look forward to receiving my final pre-order purchase parcel at the end of this month.

Excellent customer service.
The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable in my local branch, and deliveries via the post are always prompt and well packaged. This review doesn't count for vinyl via the post.
H M V is my store of preference.
