We got in touch with Kris to do snagging at our 3bed new build house in Oxfordshire. The communication was super easy and Kris' knowledge and passion made me realise he'd be the right person for the job.

Kris spent almost 5 hours at the property which resulted in a report which was detailed enough with every point addressed with photos for evidence.

I am in the process of buying a new build and at first I wasn't sure if I needed a snagging survey as you are given up to 2 years to report any issues as you find them. However, I decided to go ahead and book Kris, after reading that there may be problems in new builds, particularly in areas that you may not initially think of or able to see. We instructed KB House Surveys to carry out a Level 2 HomeBuyer Survey with drone inspection on a 1970s four-bedroom property in Swindon, and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

The survey was carried out professionally and on time, with excellent use of modern inspection methods including drone imagery, moisture testing and thermal imaging. This gave us a far clearer understanding of the roof condition, elevations and areas that are not easily accessible during a standard inspection.

The report itself was clear, well-structured and easy to follow, highlighting issues in a practical and proportionate way. Importantly, it clearly distinguished between minor maintenance items and matters requiring closer attention, without being alarmist.
