Order ready and staff excellent

Service not what I expected.
In store I was told that there was no option for delivery even though there were big signs on all the outdoor furniture saying you offer delivery in 5 days.
On collection the man behind the customer service desk really needs training on customer service!! He was so grumpy (obviously didn’t want to be there). A colleague of his asked about taking the box out to the car for me and he said ‘he was too busy’

They were a god send we were without sofas for 6 days we ordered 2 chairs which came the next day we were so grateful. A good price for the chairs and a great price for next day delivery

I placed my order online and had a really good experience my order arrived on time unfortunately I had ordered the wrong product I emailed Homebase and are refunding me and collecting my product

Popped into the store today to have some paint mad up using the paint colour creator, the young male who did this was very helpful, friendly & knowledgeable.

Paying at the desk was quick & simple but as I was totally put off by the older female worker at the checkout who is always chewing gum & chewing with mouth open. So unprofessional & shouldn’t be chewing gum whilst dealing with customers, it makes me cringe every time I see this, every single week, not sure why management haven’t noticed this & it lets the store down.

Apart from this the store & its staff are all pleasant.

I am 80 and walk with a stick. I wanted a hosepipe to go from one water tank to another. Unfortunately it was a difficult size. However Sam, the assistant, went over and above in helping me, never once making me feel
a nuisance etc. Going between gardening and plumbing sections. She was patience personified. Because I ended up fittings as well as the hospipe thus buying more than I planned, she then carried my items to the cashier. THEN walked me out to the car with my purchases. Not once was I made to feel a nuisance

I was helped to order my product in the store by a lady called Trish. The wallpaper I needed was only on line and being elderly and unable to access the net, the young lady did it all for me, which took a lot of time and patience .
