Homebase - Colchester Avis 

The person on the phone was very helpful when I called as needed clarification of the Click and Collect process.
She not only explained the process but then clarified the availability in store.

Level of service and assistance from the team at Stanway went above and beyond, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating.

Staff hurried to get my click and collect item and enthusiastically set to work getting the dust off it for me.

Staff efficient and very helpful. They helped us safely load the larger garden furniture. Sandra who was serving us was prompt and helped source and sought out what we needed

They gave us the wrong garden chairs which we only discovered when unpacking them at home. Nobody answers the phone at Colchester Stanway so we face another 80 minute round trip in the hope that they still have stock of what we actually ordered

Updated: I have upped to 3 stars, as the two ladies in the shop when we took the chairs back were very apologetic and helpful

Our recent experience was great with a massive sale on garden furniture and equipment, plus the help of the staff, namely Sharon and Mark. They both went above and beyond to help us. Both are a credit to Homebase.

Quick & efficient

Great price for a Bosch corded hedge trimmer, easy to order & ready in less than an hour.

I was slightly late due to traffic, in picking up an order about 4.05 on a Sunday and the shop was closing. The kind staff member let me go in and pick up a click and collect order. Very kind, as I'm sure lots of places would not let this happen. Good to see a company with a bit of customer kindness. Thanks Homebase for enabling me to pick up the present to give on fathers day.

After a terrible experience.The Homebase team at Stanway have now obtained a non damaged unit and have offered my a goodwill gesture.i am delighted to say by experience has been over turned by how they have dealt with the situation.credit where credit due

I ordered a lovely bathroom unit for my home.received an email to collect.on arrival the unit was smash up.round two.this was reordered to store. once again the item turned up bashed up with chunks taken out of the unit.this is really unacceptable.i got my money back and abandoned the idea of using Homebase again but now left without the unit I so much wanted .i wasn’t even offered a good will gesture for the hassle ! Very poor Homebase

Friendly guy called Ed at Homebase stanway. Helped me with 8 bags slate to my car. Friendly and helpful

The item I purchased could not be put together correctly as the parts had not been cut to the correct sizes before being flat packed. I'm not happy as this cost me a lot of money.
