Visited Luton store and was assisted by a lovely lady Evelyn. She took a great interest for me to purchase the right colour for the bedroom I am planning to decorate as I was unsure. She assisted in ensuring I used the right finish for the walls and assisted on what type of brushes to use. Evelyn was very professional and polite and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for her. Will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend the store. Thank you Evelyn for your time, greatly appreciate it. Evelyn is a true asset to your company.

I had an issue with a product but lost my receipt! I only wanted an exchange which was no problem BUT the team at Luton found a copy of my old receipt anyway!! Did the exchange no problem!!

After a negative experience dealing on the phone with Powerbase and Homebase customer service over my faulty 10 month old Lawn Mower, i wasnt looking forward to my visit to store; expecting much of the same. However, what unfolded was a shock, talk about chalk and cheese! I was given the most empathetic and professional experience i can ever recall. Dealing with Tracie and Paige was a breath of fresh air. Homebase should be so proud of these 2 ladies. If you want a textbook example of how to solve a unique and complicated problem, whilst also multi-tasking, ensuring every customer feels valued and is dealt with to the highest standard, whilst also assisting and ensuring other staff members are completing their tasks within the store....... then come and video these 2 in action. The environment they have created is so personable and professional, an almost "family like" environment that filters through to the customer. This was a shopping experience like no other, and certainly one that ensures i remain a Homebase customer. I am still slightly shocked, thinking about how positive it was and how it made me feel some 2 days later, hence why i sought this review page out, to put out there how amazing these 2 professionals are, and what a credit to Homebase. I really hope they get some deserved recognition off the back of a truly memorable experience.

Always have a lovely experience at my local Luton branch. The garden centre is better than most and this year quality of plants has been very good, again better than other similar stores. My MAIN reason for leaving this review is a lady named Evelyn (Luton store. I am always in and out of this branch). She is always sooooo very helpful, always cheerful and always has a genuine smile for all of us customers. Thank you Evelyn for being such a lovely person. You are an asset to Homebase

Since the. homebase closed and 2 years ago the lawnmower battery charger broke. After several enquiries as to how we buy another charger, we eventually gave up and threw it away. Homebase product and Homebase closed down. 😐😞
