Homebase - Milton Keynes Avis 

Love the shop -just not the staff -generally miserable and not very friendly

Bought a plant pot at the Milton Keynes store,last one in the colour i liked but had a crack in the bottom of the pot so was unsure on purchasing it,Went to the main desk and a lovely lady called Shirley served me,she managed to get me the pot for £10 instead of £12 and was really helpful with the return and guarantee procedures.She even searched for a homebase near me in Bristol as I am visiting milton keynes in case of return.Lovely lady and did not make me feel guilty in the slightest for being a little difficult-thank you!

Went for a kitchen design and got a guy called Steve Cardozo, very impressed with his knowledge and he was so good with giving me ideas that I hadn’t even thought about, the end design was everything I wanted and more. Steve’s enthusiasm for what he does was really evident and he had great ideas. Would definitely recommend him if you’re looking to redo your kitchen. Wealth of knowledge.

Steven Cardoso in the Bathroom (and Kitchen) Planning section of Homebase Milton Keynes was a complete star!
I went in with very little idea of how to tackle two very awkwardly-shaped (and previously badly-planned) bathrooms and he produced stunning, practical and styish layouts that I could never have imagined. he also kept a sensible eye on the budget.
He is highly experienced and knowledgeable, fun to work with and quick to respond to any queries. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for help with a bathroom refurbishment to book in with him.
We had sadly already fitted a new kitchen before I found him but saw some of his designs and thought they were brilliant.
I was tempted to take off a 1/4 star because he was hampered slightly by rather clunky CAD software but his skilful exercise of the tools available made everything possible.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to proceed with the bathrooms but look forward to them being transformed at some point in the future.

The staff are excellent so helpful

Items were ready . However when loading the bags into the car , I noticed 2 of the 4 had splits . As they were heavy I didn't want to unload them to take back.

Completed a click & collect order. Text message acknowledgement came through straight away and collection text within a few hours even though it was Sunday afternoon. Goods waiting on a trolley when we arrived in store. Very good service.

Daniel was so helpful, patient and polite - a credit to your store. Shirley was also very helpful and personable which made my experience in the store a pleasure.

Very short of staff for assistance

I didn’t like the attitude of the click and collect person. She picked my item and then hit an item with it when bringing to me. I’ve checked now has a small scrape on it.

Recently visited the store to get some garden bits and was served by Shirley who I must say was so helpful nothing was to much to ask ,helped me with everything I needed and I would definitely shop here again

Had reason to return an item ordered online . .not a good experience so unlike my local homebase. .stood in customer service queue, 1 person in front. Next thing another staff member arrived with a customer. Lady dealt with man in front of me then lady that was brought over was served. No apology, nothing even though I said what about me.
Nothing said at all.
The lady who eventually served me was rude.
I wanted to return an item and take 2 others instead.
She just took return item from me , without saying anything else, she said money returned to how you paid twice.
Very rude.
