You have a big sign up saying 20% off storage boxes but on getting to the till I’m told it doesn’t apply as I’m only buying one.
Deceitful.
Didn’t buy- walked out.

Went in for paint colour charts and expected that there wouldn’t be much choice. An assistant came to my assistance and helped me leave with a fistful of colour charts and information - Thank you! Just need her help to make the choice!

Well after visiting BnQ the same day with very little help, I couldn’t believe the service I received from a couple of people here at Homebase.
T you was an amazing help, thank you for not only talking the time to understand what the hell I was on about with plants etc…
You didn’t just point to stuff you took me to the product explained what I needed to do with it. Not only that but I brought a ivy plant to then be told once I get it home to take it out and pull it apart so in time I haven’t just brought one I’d have 6/7 I told them I wouldn’t do it I’d kill it laughing about to ask them if they didn’t mind doing it and they did. Amazing people here.

Went in to just scan over the kitchen layouts on offer and eventually when we had an idea of what we wanted we bought out a lovely lady called T. Important to note that she did not approach us and we were given time to look. T was especially helpful, having a real life understanding of what we wanted and full of suggestions. Top marks.

Had been to various stores nobody wanted to help me staff at other stores not Homebase rude and basically acted as if they didn’t care. Went to Homebase Milton Keynes Martyn I think he’s the store manager the only person who went out of his way to help me thank you will return there went o need diy.

I visited the Milton Keynes branch on Saturday and, whilst browsing noticed a small sofa in the sale.

A lovely lady (I didn’t catch her name) and Martyn came over to see if I needed any assistance. I explained that I wasn’t sure if it would fit in my car and, the bay window in my home. They were both so helpful, without making me feel pressured into making a purchase. I was given a tape measure so that I could measure my car, and was told they would hold the sofa while I went home to empty my car and measure up.
When I returned to the store, Martyn very kindly helped me remove the feet so that it would fit in my car and arranged for two other gentleman to help me to my car.

I cannot praise the staff enough for their helpfulness, patience and overall assistance. This is what first class customer service looks like. I will definitely return to the store and would highly recommend the store for their great products and exceptional customer service. I am one extremely happy customer with a fantastic sofa

I went in to the mk branch to talk about a bathroom sink unit I had seen on the internet. I was served by a member of staff called Anthony who couldn’t be more helpful. Sorted my request and got the unit ordered with ease.

Delivered to store on time as stated and an easy process

What an experience!!! I went in for a kitchen a few months ago. I was helped by the team there who were extremely knowledgeable. They designed my kitchen and gave me a great virtual experience! We were very concerned buying from a large retailer but, even the store manager was involved, he made it feel very personal. I would recommend getting yourself in there if you are after a kitchen, great service and value

Kitchen review - we ordered a new kitchen for our garden office. Good service within store. The kitchen arrived, parts were missing which meant installation and additional days of employment had to be planned as a consequence. The wooden surface top did not fit. We told them this a number of times, and had to purchase a new one to fit in with the builders. Despite this Homebase would not take the unopened non fitting top back. We contacted our kitchen adviser, the shop, the headquarters, the international head quarters and they would not take the wrong sized unit top back and refund us. They had the sale, so be warned, once this has happened, they do not show any further customer service unfortunately. So, in conclusion, what started as an exciting purchase, ended with possibly the worst customer service I have experienced. Such a shame, as I was a big fan of this shop prior to this.
