Homebase - Newmarket Avis 

Everything was so easy. Items easy to order and ready and waiting when I arrived 2 hours later. I could have gone sooner, but I wasn't ready.

I couldn’t lift the bags of stylish stone
Asked young man at help desk and he got 4 for me and I sat and waited at his suggestion!
The ones I thought I wanted were the small pieces, but thought larger 40mm would be better and he went changed them -I paid and he loaded into car
Cheerful helpful with no problem at any time! I was so very grateful

Operator 235323 Newmarket store!!

Bought this item today (9ltr Evaporative Air Cooler) VERY disappointed with it...there are NO photos showing the front of the machine, which is behind the horizontal slats and now we know why!...there is only 2.5 opening vertical slats, allowing the cool air to come out.... the other 3/4 of the area is covered with a rigid plastic sheet ( please see other photos on here). I was told I cannot return it as there is no fault with it?? even tho we can barely feel any cold air coming out total waste of our pension money!! Will be phoning customer service tomorrow to see if they are able to help...

My local Huntingdon Store no longer stocked ceramic tiles we bought there. The assistant at Huntingdon checked other local stores and found that Newmarket still held the stock. I went there and picked up the tiles. The assistant at Newmarket, Amber was particularly helpful. S(e told me that she was present when the Huntingdon branch telephoned and immediately located the tiles, so I was able quickly to pick up the tiles and return home, as I had a client to see at lunchtime. I was so impressed with Amber’s helpful demeanour and the speed she dealt with the issue.

Got what I wanted m, no queue so fuss. In and out just how I like it.

I arrived at Homebase Newmarket at 3.45pm on Sunday and needed to fast shop to get what I needed.
The trolley was available to collect when I went in and I found the Storage Boxes really quickly as they had been put on prominent feature end display. All the stock was clean, tidy and well organised and CLEARY priced. I spoke to an assistant, Eleanor, who was very pleasant and helpful. She has really good product knowledge. She even came and put my sale through at the front desk too. Excellent customer Service to close the sale.
I managed to get exactly what I came in for and spent £140 in 10 minutes flat with 5 minutes to spare before Store closing. I'm absolutely delighted!

This is not just a one off shopping experience. I always shop in the Newmarket store, even though Bury St. Edmunds is closer for me.
I find ALL the staff in the store are always "happy" and very helpful and know their stock and systems.
The store is always really well organised and it's a real pleasure to shop there.

Polite helpful quick service fromJo on Paint (mixing)

Today I asked a lady for help with some paint as I wasn’t sure of what kind of paint I needed. She really knew her stuff and took her time explaining what paint does what and what would be best for the project that I’m working on. Fantastic member of staff, thank you Angela from the Newmarket branch.

Effficient service over the phone and in person. Only disappointment is one of the pots is chipped on the rim.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, Jo and Lottie went way above and beyond to help me with my order, they were absolute sweethearts. I’m one very happy customer and all credit goes to them 😊

I visited the Newmarket store looking for a specific paint colour, however I didn’t know where to start with all the options! Angela was a great help, she was super knowledgable and even stayed after her shift had ended to help me - thank you so much! She is a credit to the store.

Helpful staff who quickly dealt with the order. Everything was ready and packed on the trolley, just had to wheel to the car.

Angela on the paint desk was very knowledgable and helpful. She takes her time with each customer which while it means you may need to wait, it’s great that she isn’t rushing and giving a good service to each customer equally.

NEWMARKET - Good old fashioned local store thats massive. No idea how they make money but thanks a lot guys always a pelasure to shop there.

Excellent customer service, particularly by Joanne on Newmarket customer service. A long time since I’ve experienced CS like that. She was pleasant, polite and really helpful. And solved all my issues.
