Would have given 0 stars if possible but unfortunately it is not. Terrible service, rude staff on tills, trying to charge full pack prices for individual items that have been left on shelves (not customers fault). Staff talking to each other in a derogatory manner about about customers who are standing in front of them. No help offered to find the individual items that were not on the shelves where the cashier thought they should be. Thankfully staff at the local B&Q nearby could not have been nicer or more helpful so shall go there first next time and shall not bother the Homebase staff again

I visited homebase Hall Rd Norwich
I visited homebase Hall Rd Norwich, spoke to nigel (noddy) about hire a rug doctor for weekend. Nigel was very helpful and explained thing to me. Excellent service 👏 and friendly guy. Thank you nigel (noddy) .

Can’t be bothered
Went to get some paint, spoke to a chap called Steve, surprised of his attitude as he seemed not to bother, or didn’t want to be there and couldn’t help me with mixing Dulux paint. Gave up in the end and went to the other store.

I visited your Norwich Hall road store…
I visited your Norwich Hall road store today for a doormat. I couldn't find it but a very helpful man showed me where to find it. I was about to leave but your member of staff asked if he could help with anything else. I explained I have a bad back and that I would be popping back in with my wife to pick up some bags of sand. Your assistant Matt said it was no bother and he would get the sand for me. He took it to the till for me, sold it through your tills and even took it to the car for me. This is what I call top service Homebase. Well done.

Went in to grab some paint and tiles…
Went in to grab some paint and tiles today. Spoke to 2 chaps Mark and Nigel. Fantastic service. Got me some extra tiles from the warehouse which weren’t on the floor at the time. Checked them all over before sending me on my way.

Poor customer service
Disappointed at customer service to arrange bathroom delivery. Very nonchalant attitude from store assistant who clearly didn’t care about the sale. Resulted in cancelling order to receive full refund and sourcing bathroom elsewhere.

Quick Click Collect & Purchase
Store quiet and the member of staff on the C&C counter greeted me as I approached, took the reference number & collected the item. He also scanned the extra item I picked up in store. I was in & out of the store in minutes a seamless experience.

It was easy to find what I wanted on the website. It was also easy to order and when the item was ready to collect I received the text message and it was within the hour as they’d said. Collection was also simple, I was in and out of the store in five minutes. Pleased with the service.
