Homebase - Rayleigh Weir Avis 

We visited Homebase today and purchased a bbq . This was a particular heavy item but Jerry came to our rescue and was absolutely brilliant helping us to get it out and into our car . Really lovely man and so helpful . THANKYOU Jerry ..

I visited the store this morning to collect a RugDoctor machine.
The staff (Angie and Jerry) could not have been more helpful They gave me lots of information about how to use the machine and then helped me to my car and assisted with putting it in the boot. Good old fashioned customer care ! I will be back

Gavin D at the Rayleigh branch went above and beyond on Sunday. We came in to look for garden furniture and purchased table and chairs and also he managed to secure us a sale on an ex display rattan set that I had been looking at for a while. He kindly help dismantle it and wrap the table top to ensure we could fit it in the car. Gavin D is an asset to the Rayleigh store

One item completely missing

I found the Homebase rep to be knowledgeable, helpful and patient with the potential changes in the design layout.

I bought an air conditioner and bought it online so I only needed to collect it.
The lady at the collection desk was friendly and helpful. My air conditioner was with me within 2 minutes of arriving.
It said on the website that you take old units in return. The lady wasn’t aware of that but someone else on the shop floor was. He loaded my new unit on a trolley, wheeled it out and put it in my car for me and took the old one away.
We were on our way home in less than 10 minutes. I didn’t feel rushed though..the staff were lovely and so helpful.
Really impressed!

I would like to thank Paul the Manager & his colleague on the till for their generosity in supporting Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Charity in Leigh by discounting my lampshade purchases for the charities HQ refurbishment.

Had an appointment with Ian to discuss a new kitchen, he was very helpful with his knowledge and ideas of what worked what didn’t. Now onto the next part of the process with a home visit

Mark Lawley (Manager) was super helpful and accommodating with my mums purchase of garden furniture. Although I did have a few issues with another store Mark came to the rescue and couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. Both myself and mum are now happy customers and will be returning to our local Rayleigh Homebase.

The lady who does the plants in this store her name is Kimbo she is such a lovely lady very helpful so friendly and always a pleasure to go and get plants when she is working

Good deal on the paint. Used the website for click and collect. Was ready very quickly. Very pleased.

Went into Homebase for advice and information on paint. Your employee Jerry was so very helpful and informative and his advice of buying a tester first to test the colour was spot on, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Jerry, I will be back.
