Homebase - Stamford Avis 

Buying from homebase and having my item delivered was so easy and convenient. I would certainly use it again.

I never got the item they put by the wrong thing

Click and collect service very fast and efficient. I even purchased the same item again and staff were very helpful and got it out of the warehouse straight away. Was helped by a kind assistant who lifted my heavy items into my car. Lovely and helpful staff.

When we got the unit home it had a big dint in it

Homebase had the best price for the sander I wanted to buy. I then had an issue with the battery and the staff could not have been more helpful. They insisted we test the replacement to make sure that it solved the problem. They were all really cheerful and it felt like they cared.

The item was ordered to store but the store didn't email or text me to say it had arrived. Only found out when I went to the store to check and found it had arrived 3 days earlier.
The packaging was also damaged but everything inside was ok.
Perhaps some better communication would improve the service

Fabulous service today from Thomas in Homebase Stamford. I had to return a faulty fence sprayer and Thomas could not have been more helpful or kind. I was pretty distressed but he was very reassuring and patient.
He exchanged my fence sprayer and I couldn’t recommend the store more highly.

Robyn at the Stamford store has been really great in putting together our somewhat awkward new kitchen/utility room. After a site visit for measurements etc she created a visual for discussion in store. She is really knowledgeable about the ranges and a dab hand in the CAD system as well.

Came all the way from oakham got it home all cracked now another round trip to bring back

Spent some time in the Stamford Store today looking at lawnmowers and BBQ's. The displayed items helped me make choices quite quickly but I later found that they were waiting for restock. To soften the blow I took a tour around the plant display. Eventually, a precariously stacked trolley was wheeled to the desk where Tracey, who didn't flinch at the enormity of the task, started packing into another trolley and very soon I had 2 filled trolleys. Tracey, with great reverence, presented me with the longest Till Receipt she had ever had to print off. She then arranged for a young man to help me pack all into my car. On reflection I should have borrowed the young man for the day. It is taking an age to unpack the car.

Service with a smile. We were served by Tracy at the Stamford branch. Tracy was very helpful in getting one of her colleagues from the store room to bring us an strong cardboard box to put all the plants we had just purchased.

My nan broke down in the car park, Tracey and Cath were so helpful and kind, brought her in, let her use the bathroom, got her a drink and waited with her until I could arrive. Very very kind people
