Update- thanks for your response Jane I politely disagree. I understand that wasn't the intention, but the email reads that way because it opens with questions about what I might have done, rather than confirming what's been checked on your end first. The line about the form being essential paperwork for the lab reinforces that, as it reads as explaining the likely consequence of my error before any other fault has been ruled out.

I’ve used the extended urine culture twice after frustrations of not being able to get to the bottom of my symptoms via the NHS. The first time I got a detailed useful report back very quickly. As the symptoms continue I decided to try again to reopen the conversation with my GP.

This second time my experience has been less than great. I followed the instructions to the letter (like I did first time round). I’ve waited a week since the package shows as delivered using the tracking number. I followed up today and the first suggestion was I hadn’t completed the form properly for the lab to run the test. I replied saying I had and it’s the second time I’d done the test and did the same both times and provided the tracking number.

I then got a response saying the lab confirmed they’ve never received it so Riyal Mail must have lost. The tracking shows delivered but granted there is no proof of delivery.

What I’ve found frustrating is the assumption in the first email without any questions or conversation to suggest the issue was my error and also a pet hate of mine the business clearly uses copy and paste to reply to emails and they were sloppy enough to send in two different fonts.

They’ve sent a replacement test, hopefully third time lucky. But I must be honest based on this experience i wouldn’t be in a rush to use them again.

Got an infection in my bladder and kidneys dark extremely foul smelling overnight stinking whole house out urgency for nothing antibiotics significantly reduce symptoms paid £64 for basic culture urine bacteria test and it was negative scammed me i want a refund!

I haven’t recieved all my results as yet as one takes longer which I knew about and happy to wait But I had one result sent to me at a weekend .. This company went above and beyond I highly recommend them even replied super fast to my emails over a weekend I don’t know of any other company who does that ? Highly recommend

I ordered an extended UTI culture test as I was experiencing UTI symptoms but all standard tests always came back negative. I was still treated with multiple antiobiotics for nearly a year without success when a friend recommended I use this service for an extended culture.

Fantastic diagnostic experience from the team.

I had a vaginal swab tested for some fertility treatment im having. The whole process was easy to do, from ordering online, the test arriving the next day, taking the sample from the very detailed instructions and sending back, to receiving the results.

The testing turnaround time was quick, quicker then other laboratories you can use online, although you do pay slightly more for the test overall.

I was most impressed with the communications on the website help desk, questions were answered very quickly, including at weekends and evenings.

Overall a very positive experience and one I will definitely use again if needed.
