I really what to praise the exceptional service of Johnny Ioannou who was not only polite and efficient but went above and beyond to get my order sorted when the online identity service wouldn't work for me. Great staff go a long way to raising a company profile and Johnny is a real asset to HHS ProService. Thank you

Whilst HSS rightly have a good reputation for the quality and range of their hire products, the delivery logistics I experienced were a car crash. I rented a tool for delivery on Tuesday. I first received an email estimating delivery 12 - 5pm, followed, on the morning, by one saying it would be 1:03pm.
The driver arrived at 10:15am, and I wasn't present.
No notification of the failed delivery was sent. I called the number given and, after 15 minutes of gruesome hold music, was told it was a failed delivery. When the helpful agent realised it had failed solely because of the HSS emails, he re-scheduled for the Wednesday, promising it would be on an 'early' priority run. If only.
Wednesday saw the arrival of an email estimating delivery 12 - 5pm. Eventually it arrived at 1:20 - half way through Day 2 of my planned project.
I should note that this cordless power driver arrived half charged, and the driver's comment was "well, that should be enough"!
Moral of the lesson? If you are running a time-constrained project do NOT hire from HSS on a home delivery basis.

Easy to book. Fairly priced.
Delivery was prompt and simple.

Only downside is that the sander didnt come with any dustbag, and I couldn't find it on the website!

My first time using HSS. WOULD USE AGAIN. NOTE:- Although the delivery missed its ETA considerably, it did turn up on the day and the driver was helpful & amenable, able to drop the bulk bag exactly where we needed it.

Booked equipment for delivery on 28th April. The night before, I received an email saying delivery would be between 12–5. It didn’t turn up.

After spending 45 minutes on the phone, I was told it would be the first drop the next day. No follow-up email, call, or confirmation was ever sent. Online customer service was consistently offline and messages went unanswered.

Needless to say it didn't turn up and have lost 2 days work.

Got up to date tracking. I think all delivery companies should use the same tracking!
The driver was great and dumped the soil where we asked him to.
Fantastic service!

Ordered feather edge fencing,which indicated a delivery, within 2 days. Once I paid, I got a message telling me it would not now be delivered for a week.
However the main problem was that the new date that delivery was supposed to happen, came and went.
The next day a delivery turned up, but it was missing four boards. Making it impossible to complete my project.
I am waiting a reply to my request to deliver the remaining boards but not had any reply. I emailed them yesterday too, to ask where my order was but had not had a reply from that either.
First time trying this company, so ridiculously poor service, failed on 3 separate points. Definitely cannot recommend their service at all at this point. if it had worked it would of been a good service, but it failed almost totally as far as I am concerned.

Good stuff, delivered on time

Delivered right on time for a very, very low delivery charge. Unfortunately two (out of 32) slabs were broken but the truck driver noted this and assured us that replacements would be delivered in a van.

And this happened the very same day. The van driver called ahead, so I told him no-one would be at home and instructed him where to leave the slabs - and he did exactly that.

Can't fault the service really.

The ordering system was easy and seamless. The delivery was prompt and within the estimated time frame. The delivery driver was pleasant and polite.

Simple ordering process and competitively price. Delivery delayed by 24 hours due to the breakdown of the delivery vehicle. A prompt phone call to advise of the issue, and a early delivery the next day.

Good delivery service. Good website & product. Great price. Excellent communications.
