Exactly as ordered, good price and fast delivery.

Unfortunately the items I purchased were unsuitable. They were unopened and I have made 4 requests, made a phone call and also discussed it with an online chat with zero response. So, obviously I can't possibly say anything other than I wouldn't buy from them again.

Absolutely rubbish.. sent me an invoice for petrol for a jetwash 3 months after we hired it .. it was supplied with no fuel and wouldlnt start .. the even charged us for fuel when renting it .. so have paid twice for 2 lots of fuel that don’t exist .. rubbish company wouldn’t use again .. filth

Delivery was running late so I called. The answer was 'oh weve checked the driver is 5 minutes away.'

30 minutes later I call back and they check again and he's 45 minutes away.

Turns out HSS just sub this out to other companies like Selco.

Dishonest staff and a terrible experience. Won't use this awful company again

Worst company I’ve EVER dealt with. I’d give no stars if I could. They subcontract out. Over charged us by £40 ( acknowledged this price change but “ can’t do anything about it”) booked it for 24hours failed to collect the equipment and then repeatedly gave collection times that failed to materialise and 8 days later having waited AGAIN all afternoon still not arrived. Contacted them again and waited for ages on the phone..Customer service is appalling. Do NOT USE them.

Hired a turf cutter from HSS ProService on Saturday to be delivered the following Wednesday. The order was fulfilled by Speedy Hire and the wrong equipment (a rotavator) was supplied instead which I had to reject. My order clearly stated a turf cutter with a product code. I had to remove 50m2 of turf by hand due to this poor service.

A great all round experience from ordering to delivery.

time wasters.. no comm's, delivery arrived at 6pm when site was closed. whole day wasted!! HOWEVER Patrick on help desk was a ray of sunshine, fast, efficient, no BS! shame for the rest of the team.

Where to begin! I ordered a carpet cleaner and cleaning solution. Delivered about a week later with no notification (luckily I was in the house). No cleaning solution was delivered and the plug was the wrong type to plug into domestic sockets. Mono-syllabic delivery guy said we would be contacted...which never happened. Called up the help line and the operative confirmed that they had delivered the wrong item so would arrange to pick up and drop off the correct item. Another week/10 days go by with this bit of kit sitting in my hallway - no notification again, random collection of incorrect kit but replacement was not delivered. Called up the help line again and they agreed to refund. Another week or so and i get my £10 deposit back but not the full refund for the item that still hasn't been delivered! Called again after waiting to see if the cash would be refunded - operative explained that he couldn't refund because a case needed to be opened, and he proceeded to up date the case with the details (which evidently hadn't already been done). He explained it would be a couple of days before i received the cash and here we are, about 2 weeks later still waiting. Not sure how this company is in existence - pretty much the worst service i've ever received and I still have dirty carpets and have been charged for the privilege.

Delivery did not arrive, tool is unserviceable.
Understand this happens, but HSS fail to contact to notify.

First call 11:00, 34 minutes to find out they can’t deliver.
HSS are going to look at what other options and call me back.

They do not call back. At 15:00 I chase them second call 41 minutes to be told I will get a call back by the right department.

It’s now passed closing time, the 2nd promised call back has not taken place.

HSS has not delivered yet have taken my money!

If this is HSS understanding of customer service, then AVOID!

Following my initial review, I’ve raised an online dispute, with calls to HSS costing in excess of £20. I’ve been ignored via the phone and online dispute.

This company had absolutely no interest in assisting us when our delivery had not arrived. Two phone calls were a complete waste of time, we were passed to a department who were supposed to investigate but after waiting 25 minutes to connect they just put the phone down and made no attempt to re contact us . Unless you are desperate don’t bother using them

Tried to buy twice won't accept payment

Equipment did not operate as thought and did not have vacuum hose for dust extraction not impressed with the equipment

I rented a wacker plate for a home DIY project, as well as bought a petrol container and ear defenders for the work.

The wacker plate arrived on time, but the other two items simply never arrived. I've completed the job and waited more than a week since and they still haven't arrived. I've struggled to get through to anyone on their customer support line to arrange a refund.

What's more, they left no details for when they would be picking up the rented equipment. Several days after the end of my rental period they finally sent a pickup date a week later which was supposed to be today. As I write I've still had no pickup, no further information despite having to wait in all day for this.

Ridiculous customer service and I've generally just been scammed out of £20 for products which they decided never to deliver.

Service and delivered on time and friendly driver can’t fault it . Also the product was just what it said it was
