I was emailed about some discounts relevant to my particular needs, of which I was able to take advantage and stock up on some ink cartridges. The order was processed promptly and was on my doorstep only a day later. Saves my time driving to the store to purchase...and I pay less!

I have been a very supportive customer…
I have been a very supportive customer for over 10 years. Always used a compatble ink with no issue. My printer always used to show full capacity. Bought a packet of high yeld ink last time, and printer showed it's only 3/4 full. I contacted Ink Depot and got a very arrogant and condescending answer from Anna. Basically she told me that this is how compatible ink works and because it's cheaper than origianl, I should be happy with what I've got. Well, $25.00 per cartiridge is still a good money on my opition. I guess, I shall go to other places in the future.

We sincerely apologise if our previous response came across as condescending in any way. That was absolutely not our intention as we genuinely aim to be helpful and transparent with our customers, and we're sorry to have missed the mark in the tone of the email.
You're right to expect better. You've been using compatible cartridges for many years, so it’s understandable that seeing a cartridge being reported as partially empty right after installation would raise concerns. While some Epson printers can display inaccurate ink levels with compatible chips, this should have been better explained with more care and without making assumptions.
Although you've said you're unlikely to return, please know that we genuinely value your business and your feedback. If you’re open to it, we’d like to offer to replace the cartridge or refund it as a gesture of goodwill.
Either way, thank you again for your past support, and we're truly sorry for this experience.
Terrible service, terrible attitude.
We bought an original HP ink cartridge from Ink Depot and it didn't fill the printer. Contacted Ink Depot and they refused to replace it because as per HP's instructions we had thrown it out with the enclosed recycling envelope. All we got from Ink Depot was an arrogant email with a link to their returns policy page. There are lots of places to buy ink cartridges so pick one who is prepared to back up their products not these people who leave you hanging. Terrible service, terrible attitude. In reply to your reply i did buy it 4 months ago and despite it not working as it should I just let it go. However the cartridge has now run out, has had to be replaced (by another supplier, I wont make that mistake again) and has printed significantly less than the 2,500 pages claimed. As per consumer law it is your responsibility as the seller to replace a faulty product whether your supplier agrees to back you up or not. In the end you did not back your product or offer any form of remedy at all except for a link to your terms and conditions so the review is in my opinion accurate.

Hi,
I have checked on your order and this situation appears to have occurred 4 months ago. I can see at that time you had raised concerns about a freshly installed genuine HP cartridge showing a low toner level. As it is rare for a genuine HP product to be faulty, it is quite possible that the toner counter did not reset when the new toner was installed. This is usually an automatic function which occurs when a new cartridge is inserted into the printer and resets the toner level to show as full. When this does not happen, it may need to be reset manually. As toner reset instructions vary between different printers, the instructions for your specific model can be found by doing a web search for "toner reset [insert printer model]".
We try to keep our returns policy as flexible as we possibly can and in line with our competitors. Our staff checked with our supplier to see if they would allow for a special credit for this item but unfortunately the genuine item had to be returned in order for the credit to be approved for refund. In regards to the email sent, this was our standard return email which contained return instructions. While there was nothing unsavoury said in the email itself that could be interpreted as arrogant, I understand that perhaps you felt this way because it was asking you to return a product which you no longer had. Due to multiple team members being involved with your query, the person that sent this email was unaware that the product had already been thrown out and they were simply trying to help facilitate a return.

Bad and Fraudulent InkDepot System!
My first experience with InkDepot was extremely disappointing.
I tried to buy an item using its website and all the attempts I did to pay using different Credit Cards were denied. Then, I phoned them and after I explained what was happening I was told that the denial reason was because all the credit cards that I used were issued overseas, not in Australia.
Confirming that I actually had no Australian credit card, I was told that this was for security reasons (!!!).
Without being able to acquire the product from them I searched for another supplier, and I could purchase using one of the so called “unsecure” credit card and fortunately for a lower price than the one offered by InkDepot.
Well, what was a simple unsuccessful experience, became a big disgusting surprise when later I saw that my credit card statement from the foreign bank was displaying that InkDepot had charged me for the product which purchase had been denied and had not been sent to me! So, I had to contact the bank and said that it was an unrecognized fraudulent attempt of charging me.
So, be careful with InkDepot system! Your purchase can be denied for security reasons but your credit card can be fraudulently charged.
And they are insisting to send e-mails with their newsletter for someone who according to their requirements has no secure credit cards to purchase from them.
Why have I keep receiving those annoying newsletters from a fraudulent system? That’s why I have just unsubscribed any correspondence from InkDepot. I hope that both of us have peace of mind from now on.

Hi Sergio, I am sorry to hear of this experience. Our payment gateway does have a block on cards issued outside of Australia and this is for security purposes. We rarely, if ever, have had customers trying to make payments with these cards. However, attempts by fraudsters who have stolen credit card information do sometimes try to place orders with us and most of these attempts are with cards issued outside of Australia, this is why we block those cards.
I understand that this could be frustrating for you but security is one of our top concerns and our bank needs to see that we are proactive in disallowing fraudulent payments to occur. The payment screen is completely Commonwealth Bank's page, which just redirects back to our shop after the payment has been attempted so any payment taken despite being blocked/declined is done by Commonwealth Bank's system. It is quite rare for a payment to still slip through like that but all we can do is refund the payment if it does end up being processed.
