Terrible credit card app full of adverts for their own services that I do not want. Things like balance transfer offers and instalment plans. These clutter the screen so you only see 3 or 4 transactions. They refuse to remove the adverts. As far as I am concerned, it is disrespectful of customers to prioritise their marketing over customer experience.

I've never had foreign currency delivered to my house but thought I'd choose this option with John Lewis. After selecting the date I was kept informed by Royal Mail about when I could expect the delivery on the day. Hassle-free - why would you put yourself out? Typical John Lewis: first-class.

It was disappointing because the cashier did not point out that I would probably be charged a cash advance fee for using my credit card and not suggest using my debit card.

Brigid who helped with transaction was very helpful and tried very hard to get the correct denomination notes for me, was friendly but efficient

Collecting the Euros from Waitrose in Gerrards Cross was simple and speedy.

Was not happy with the amount of 850€s in 50€ notes out of the 1000euros requested.

Getting money to take abroad was quick and simple at John Lewis, the staff were lovely and helpful and even tell you to check the ohm Lewis app to see if there’s any discount or offers.

I was welcomed as I arrived in the department and treated with courtesy throughout. Your staff member was most helpful and knew her subject.

The process was straight forward, I was kept informed of the collection date and time and the currency was available as expected

the first time we went to the travel exchange it was closed and we had to go back another day.
the rate was good and had no problems when we went back.

Easy to use and collection from my local Waitrose was easy, a good service. One thing I would change is nearly all my dollars were in $50 not good. Have you tried spending a $50 note in the USA I will have to go to a bank in USA and ask them to change them to lower dominartion. Not good,may put me off using this again

I didn't have to wait and the currency was available. The assistant was courteous. All fine. If there is a queue there are seats while waiting

Cashier was very efficient, friendly and informative. All in all a good experience and the rate was extremely competitive.
However, I was asked if I had a JL card, which I have, and the cashier informed me that there was an offer, when I showed her my card she explained that the the offer was only available if you had the App on your phone and I was not eligible as I only had a card. I found this very discriminatory, the offer should be available to all, whatever format you choose to access your JL account.
