My spouse developed Lewy Body Dementia…
My spouse developed Lewy Body Dementia with a seizure disorder and we needed more help the last 3 months of her life – Honor Home Care was fantastic! The caregivers who came were experienced, competent and compassionate. We had a rotating group of three or four women, and each was terrific, even in the last week when the seizures were frequent and frightening. I liked that we could schedule as-needed, and that aides would come with us when we needed help with procedures in hospitals (cat scan, blood draw). I have recommended them to many friends looking for aides.

Poor coordination and scheduling
Poor coordination and scheduling. Last-minute changes. Noshows and personnel who could not find our house. Never would use them again.

Occurrences like the ones you've shared were not uncommon in early 2017, and we've since put tremendous resources into improving our reliability and enhancing the overall care experience.

Good, but staff for cognitively impaired needs work
Some of the care givers were absolutely fantastic, some where fine, a couple needed replacing. Unfortunately it was nearly impossible to monitor the night time people and they didn't fall into the fantastic or fine category. When you have a cognitively impaired person on hospice you need to send the best people.
The app with alerts was fantastic. After the loved one passed, we missed those alerts for a few days.

Honor's system always professional, caring, friendly and kind. They always worked with us when we had questions, special requests or concerns.
Unfortunately we lost my Mom recently, but the caregivers still reached out to me with their love and kind words!!
