So extremely happy with my new sofa! The whole process has been amazing from start to finish! The lovely gentleman Steve who helped us pick and order our sofa was amazing, very knowledgeable and my husband even had a small medical emergency whilst we were there and Steve was amazing and straight on hand to help! Talk about fabulous customer service Steve! Delivery was easy to organise with the delivery team and the 2 very lovely men Kami and Sam who delivered my sofa were great, very kind, professional and couldn't of done anymore to make the delivery as smooth as possible! Overall I am a very happy customer and 100% would recommend KC sofas! A huge thank you to all involved, KC sofas are lucky to have such amazing people working for them :)

Delivered on time and arrived when they said, nothing to much trouble gor the delivery guys.

In store staff were helpful but not pushy. They were honest that delivery would take some time, but it arrived a little sooner than expected. Kami and Sam were very professional when they delivered it, and it came completely covered for protection. They set it up for us, and made sure we were happy before they left.

We got a corner sofa from kc sofas in Castleford about 4 years ago and in the last 6 months I have grown out of love with it so decided to go back into the same store to see if we could find a replacement. We were greeted by steve who was the sales person. He was very knowledgeable about all the suites they had in stock and was very patient with us for all of our duration in the showroom. He was very talkative but also left us alone when we needed to talk between ourselves. Steve talked us through everything we needed to know about the suite we eventually went for. He couldn't have been more tentative and I would recommend going into any kc sofas showroom if all their staff are like Steve.

We'd previously heard really good things about KC Sofas in Lincoln, particularly about the staff, so we went in genuinely hoping to buy from them. We're not fans of the bigger chains, and other local independents hadn't appealed to us, so we were actually quite keen to spend our money with KC.

Within a few minutes, we'd found something that fitted exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, the salesperson's attitude quickly took the shine off the experience. We found him arrogant and condescending, regularly scoffing at things we said and generally speaking down to us.

Despite that, we were still prepared to spend £2,800 outright — not finance — on a five-year-old ex-display La-Z-Boy set. We were then told that even after agreeing to buy it, we couldn't actually take it until their replacement arrived. Instead, the suite we'd just spent £2,800 on would remain uncovered on the showroom floor, with customers continuing to sit on and use it until KC decided it was ready to leave.

When we asked why our purchased furniture couldn't simply be removed from the showroom while we waited for delivery, the response was essentially, "It's a five-year-old showroom model." The impression we were left with was that, because of its age, it simply wasn't worth their time or money to move it out of the showroom and "someone else would buy it in 5 minutes" if we didnt — despite apparently still being worth £2,800 of our money to buy it.

When we questioned the arrangement further, we were told there was "no negotiation" and "those were the terms."

So, those were indeed the terms — and we decided not to accept them.

We walked away and went straight to one of the big chains we'd specifically been trying to avoid. Ironically, the experience couldn't have been more different. We were treated like valued customers rather than an inconvenience and happily spent £3,000 with them instead.

It's a real shame. We walked into KC wanting to support a local independent business, found what we wanted within minutes and had £2,800 ready to spend. Losing that sale wasn't down to price, finance or the product — it was entirely down to how we were treated and the attitude towards a perfectly reasonable request.

Apparently, a five-year-old showroom model wasn't worth the effort of moving for a customer ready to spend £2,800 on it. Thankfully, another retailer was more than happy to have our business.

Sometimes good customer service really is that simple.

We popped into our local branch (Castleford) as we weren't sure what we wanted, and Steve couldn't have been more helpful. He gave us the space to have a look around, and then advised us when we asked for it. No pressure, no hassle, which is so refreshing! He recommended the Georgie corner sofa as we have a pipe box in the corner of the room, and it was a genius suggestion as it fits perfectly!
The sofa was delivered by Charlie and Sam who took the first floor delivery in their stride! They unwrapped and fitted the sofa together and made sure I was happy with everything before leaving.
All in all, it was a great experience and I would totally recommend KC Sofas to anyone looking for a new Sofa.

We visited the Lincoln showroom and were surprised at the selection of sofa’s available, the settees we preferred didn’t offer our colour preference but were informed by staff James and Mick that shortly a new range of colour swatches were coming. A couple of weeks later they rang to say the new swatches were in. We returned and made our choice.
The suite was ready for delivery within the stated time and delivered by the very helpful Kami and Sam who took the time to position the settees where we wanted them and reiterate the information given to us at the time of purchase.
I have already recommended K C Sofas to family and friends and will continue to do so.

The whole process was easy, pleasant and helpful assistant in the shop. The delivery men were very good,they positioned the furniture as I wanted and took away all the packaging.

The guys at the store were very helpful and the guys who delivered the sofa kami and sam we’re very polite and efficient

Went in today, looking for a sofa for our Orangery. Michael was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. His understanding of each range was excellent and he was able to explain the difference between each one in detail. Very friendly and welcoming experience would definitely recommend.
