Land of Beds Avis 

Very disappointing experience from start to finish.

I placed my order on 26th July, and at no point during the ordering process was I made aware that the bed was actually out of stock and would take weeks to arrive.

When the expected delivery week passed without any update, I had to chase Land of Beds myself. I then had to chase again during the week I had been told the bed was due to arrive in the UK, as I still hadn’t received any clear communication.

Unfortunately, the bed itself has been just as disappointing. It looks nothing like the advertised images and, in person, looks and feels like very cheap pine. The quality and appearance are nowhere near what I expected from the photographs or the price I paid.

Overall, the lack of communication, the delays and, most importantly, the quality and appearance of the actual product have left me extremely disappointed. I would not have placed the order had I known the true lead time and what the bed would actually look like when it arrived.

Everything went well from looking at the website to calling the office. I was sent a link and then informed of the next steps. The mattress was delivered quickly and easy to set up. Have not slept on it yet but looking forward to it. All good.

We bought the bed on the basis of a delivery before 9th October. We then discover that the best delivery date is 17th Oct!

Ordering was so quick and simple.
Advised on delivery today 24 September between 08.00 and 18.00hrs then revised to delivery by 16.00 hrs
Having stayed in all day it’s now 18.30 hrs and no delivery

Land of Beds have been the dream team from start to finish.
Initially the sales team - especially Louise - were helpful and gave good advice on colour choice and selection.
The after sales was also very supportive, and their policy allowed me to change the new mattress that was not providing the sleep support I require. So Sophie in Customer Support discussed the issue with Louise to then help me get the ideal mattress.

Great service guys...and can confidently recommend to anyone.

Organised and straight forward ordering process. Great communication throughout. Very fast delivery. Even the courier, UPS, brought the package upto our 12th floor apartment. Would not hesitate to buy from you again.

The bed came damaged there is a chip on the side of the base im not happy but i didnt unpack the item till a week after delivery if i had the bed unpacked on the day i would have noticed ..its been knocked or dropped but i dont gave proof .

It was Louise who dealt with my order, such a wonderful person she talked me through what I need and helped me choose even sent me lots of beds by email to choose from. Absolutely nothing was a bother to her, I wish all sales people were like her it would be a nice experience every time I shopped. A Big THANK YOU LOUISE😁

Good showroom with a good variety of beds and mattresses to try. Brilliant staff who made shopping there an absolute pleasure with all their knowledge, non pushy sales technique and great sense of humour. Special thanks to Cath supported by Matthew and also Alan.

Went into the shop in Helsby today. We were greeted by Julie who showed us several different combinations of bed base, mattresses and headboards.
Julie listened to what we were saying and we chose a lovely bed.

I love that Land of Beds are a third generation family run business, and am happy to continue to support a name I know and trust.
My four stars rating, is just down to the issues that arose during the deliveries, which took way longer than expected with little matters popping up along the way. However, every step of the way I was supported and updated by the great responsive customer care team - namely Annie and Nicola. Their responses and assistance with the deliver service, ensured I remained connected and reassured things would get sorted - it made the difference from a 3 start review to a 4 start one.
My Lewis & Jones divan bed and headboard is great. Sturdy divan with smooth opening/closing drawers. A nice high medium-firm mattress. A good nights sleep was had last nigh, and I am sure it will continue to give my parents beautiful night sleeps for many years to come.
Overall, I am happy with my online purchase - easy navigation on website and colour selection as shown, and easy payment process; interaction with the team at LoB via email; and assembly of new bed and old bed removal...Oh, and the free pillows - can't forget what did arrive without issue.
I can happily recommend, because even if an issue arises Land of Beds have a great customer care team - I experienced that first hand, and remain a happy customer.

Knowledgeable, friendly unrushed service from Julie. Julie took all the hassle away from the radius task of choosing the right mattress.
