Julie was very knowledgeable about the products available and listened to our needs.The product we originally came to view was a lot firmer than we expected and again, after more questions Julie offered different choices for us to consider and we finally decided on another Hypnos mattress which suited our needs.
A big thanks to Julie for making this decision so easy with her knowledge and easygoing nature, at no point did we feel any pressure to make a decision on the spot, she actually made the whole experience relaxed and comfortable.

Can't say enough!!! - Fantastic personal service from all the staff at Wigan, mainly Lucy who has made this experience easy from the start. I had already done extensive research on the beds but her knowledge and experience ensured me I was getting the correct bed. Communication via email & phone was spot on, initially saw Land of Beds online but decided to call in to the shop and I wasnt disappointed. Family business, I felt that with the service given, unlike some of the bigger chains.
I would highly recommend them.

Julie at Land of Beds was amazing.
From start to finish Julie at Land of Beds was patient and extremely informative.
I first contacted Land of Beds in April 2025 to buy a mattress. Julie was my point of contact and from the first time I spoke to her I realised that her knowledge of beds and mattresses was second to none. Julie was extremely knowledgeable and patiently advised me on the products available.
The main thing that impressed me other than her knowledge was the fact that at no time did I feel pressured into making a decision.
Due to family circumstances almost a year and a half passed before my wife and I finally visited the store in Helsby to make a decision and purchase a mattress.
Thankfully Julie was available and patiently guided us through the extensive range of mattresses in the showroom to make the right choice.
For anyone thinking of purchasing a mattress or bed I would strongly recommend Land of Beds and in particular Julie. You will get good unbiased advice without any pressure to buy.

So impressed
So impressed. A couple of days delivery and the best deal I could find out there. The bed is perfectly firm and soft like sleeping on a cloud with the perfect support. Delivery was so no messing about and the ordering was nice and easy to. Would 100% recommend this company.

Bad service
We bought a bed and mattress in December 2025 and found the mattress to hard so we replaced it with the help of land of beds to a medium but it still was no good and it is affecting my partners mental and physical health and we cannot get any help from land of beds, they recommend a mattress topper which means further expense and still stuck with the same crap mattress steering clear you have been warned.
My opinion has not changed the mattres we received is still too hard even though it's a medium.

I have looked into your order and can see that we have exchanged your mattress from an extra firm to a medium tension in an effort to find a more comfortable feel for you.
As mattress comfort is very personal and can vary from person to person, it may be that a softer sleeping surface would be better suited to your preferences.
Our team has recommended a mattress topper as an option to add an additional softer layer, and we would be very happy to offer any advice or guidance to help you find the feel that works best for you.
