We recently reseeded our front lawn after hours of scarifying and aerating. It was in a bad way very uneven and full of weeds. But the hard work has definitely paid off. Now our neighbours and various passers by are asking where we purchased the grass seed from. We're really enjoying our beautiful lawn almost a month on. I place an order around 3.30 on Sunday afternoon and paid for next day delivery.
Therefore I expected the order to be processed on Monday and delivery on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning I emailed them and asked why i had not had any notification of delivery. I was told that as I had placed after 2pm the order would be dispatched the following day. As I had placed the order on Sunday I was completely bemused by that answer.
I did not have time to get into an email argument or call them so just requested a refund.
I have also had the same issue with a small seed company.
I have now gone to one of the major seed companies

I bought the Classic grass seed & Starter lawn fertiliser. The grass seed started coming up approx 1.5 wks. It’s been just over 2 weeks now and my lawn has never looked so healthy and luxuriously green and continues to get thicker every day with new grass shoots filling in everywhere, everyday. I’ve never been so happy with my lawn. Delivery was quick but there was a slight hiccup with part of it (not Lawnsmiths’ fault) but they quickly dealt and managed this. Lawnsmiths’ products are very good & I’m super pleased and impressed with the results. I’ll continue to use Lawnsmith. You can see the results & I trust their products & will continue to use them from now on. Their customer service and care is exceptionally high & professional. If you want a beautiful lawn then I thoroughly recommend this company not only for their products but their aftercare to ensure you’re happy with everything (that’s a good and rare thing companies do nowadays). They also have great info about lawn care, how to’s & what to use for certain soil types etc. Im pretty proud of my lawn now & I’ll be getting my garden things from them. Trying to get advice on a pressure regulator. I was asked for my post code! Then I was told to pursue the manufacturer (Matabi). What I had said was that the PR was not operating as I expected. Given that there's a man in the video I thought that the company would have an expert (not a silly girl) who would read my request and try to answer it. Totally useless for advice.

So my back lawn was a bit of a state. It’s been laid about 10 years and it was great at first then I started mowing next doors lawn for them as they didn’t bother. Big mistake my lawn just ended up full of all kinds of weeds and miss it was a mess. For years I’ve tried to get it back to half decent and toiled every year buying off the shelf seed and all different varieties of patch fix. This year I decided enough was enough and I was going to make a proper effort. I saw loads of stuff on instagram but decided I wasn’t getting conned so I did my research and found lawnsmith. I read loads of stuff on there about what to do but in essence I waited till about April then I put Liquid weed and moss killer on it. I left it about 7 weeks and went on holiday as it was due rain on my return. I bought a seed spreader. I forked it all over and then I went to work. I used a 2kg bag of classic seed. Kind of wish I’d bought 5kg but didn’t want to spend that much in case it didn’t work. Then the rain came. I waited about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden it just seem to come to life. I cut it on a high setting and have continued to do so little and often. It’s now like a carpet in comparison to how it was. I ended up buying another bag of seed to fill a few patches but now it’s 100% better than it ever was I cannot recommend enough. Next on the list is the front which is even worse but I’m looking forward to the challenge

I thought I'd got a decent lawn until I found Lawnsmith, now it's the envy of my neighbours!
Not only does Lawnsmith sell very good products like fertilisers and seed but it is also a great source of advice with helpful videos, "how to's" and Monthly newsletter...everything you need to know is covered.
Whenever anyone comments on my lawn I don't bore them with details I just tell them to look at the Lawnsmith site.....maybe I should be on commission...🤣
