Poor communication, lots of promises to ring then didn't, only asked for my account of events close to the date and seemed to have already formed a (negative) opinion of me before being aware of details. Didn't ask for evidence in support of my account until very late. I feel it wasn't an impartial approach and did not feel confident I would receive positive representation

Lawstop are professionals and they supported my mother’s Immigration Application for Indefinite Leave To Remain. Gary Goddard was very professional & understanding as this was during the pandemic. Her application was late due to my mother missing her deadline. Within few months her visa was granted. We will forever be grateful for their services and they don’t charge exorbitant fees. I strongly recommend.

Lawstop has been incredibly supportive in 3 spereate eviction cases, where they managed to avoided me to be evicted from Landlords who tried unlawfully to evict me. Especially Mrs Rema Ince, who has been incredibly supportive and pushed through, together with her legal assistance Ms Hannah Humpries. Without the support of Lawstop I would have not been able to do this by myself not only because of lack of financial resources but also because of them being precised, reply promptly, efficient and integrity they carry in their work process. They truly want to help others.

14mths off battling Herts C/C sen team, my 12yr left with NO school placement or education.
Eventually found out about LAWSTOP, Frank Bowmaker (Paralegal) in education who was assigned to my sons case.
He worked above and beyond getting my sons EHCP into place.
He worked late on many occasions to meet deadlines and was very patient working with me who did not know much.

We had an educational tribunal v Hertfordshire LA. This was really difficult with no help from them.

The educational team at Lawstop were fantastic. Fully assisting with our ECF funding and working long hours and weekends to meet deadlines for the working document and tribunal evidence.

The diligence on the working document and throughout was excellent.

This placed us in a position of strength with our school agreed in section I before the Tribunal.

Regardless of the outcome (we don't know at this point)

Won’t call you back, completely unprofessional messing around with peoples lives. I haven’t spoken with them directly nor signed any legal documents. Despite this they will not reject/release my case that was forwarded to them by a third party, so I can’t even go else where to a firm who actually cares and wants to help.

Gary Godard provided an excellent and considerate service. He filled all my forms from distance and promptly, which saved me a lot of time.
At each phase of my application he was accurate and no element needed revision.
He supplied me with correct information at every stage and kept me posted on the progress of my application.
He answered all my phone-calls and emails without delay.
His efforts gave fruit and my application was gratified in the expected time-frame.
The cost of the service was also reasonable having in mind all the troubles that it saved me.

I agree with the previous reviewer Lawstop are discriminatory both my son and myslef are disabled and they ignore any request to make a reasonable adjustment and they are untrustworthy and I am waiting for the legal ombudsman and ICO to investigate our complaints about this firm which the precentafe of bad reviews says it all

I can’t thank Lawstop enough for all their support during an extremely upsetting time. Lawstop helped during my eviction and helped to navigate the Communication with the local authority and estate agents. Lawstop were very good with laws relating to disability and housing which was the main issues we were facing.

Brilliant friendly staff, helped me through a challenging time

I would like to thank lawstop, Jay and Priscilla in particular, from the bottom of my heart for standing with me during my ordeal. They literally took me back from the street to my accommodation and confronted the illegal decisions of the Home Office. I don't know what I would have done or what would have been my fate without them.
One of the things I liked so much is that they keep calling me and following my situation constantly. So far, they are the best legal service I ever had.

Lawstop is very Professional and super efficient. I am foreigner but it doesn't stop them in any way to assist me with all that they can. I am very amazed by how efficient and prompt by their legal letter to the council addressing all my immediate concerns. Fabulous service of action is an understatement , Priscilla and Jay have helped me to fight for my rights and they definitely have done extra miles for the reunion of my family.
I think it is fair to say that maybe Lawstop have many clients and they are trying their best to help their clients in the best interest, the paralegal are also human, they can't be working 24/7, so people who might misinterpret, everyone deserves a second chance! My experience with Lawstop was indeed very good. Jay was very responsive, very Professional in his advice and he will respect client privilege and he will always give updates when he has first hand news and before he finished for the day. Although I am with Legal Aid, but this hasn't stop me from being different as a private client. When I was alone with communication with the authorities, there was absolutely zero conclusion but once I engaged Lawstop, the reunion was completed within 27 hours which was indeed amazing. I am a civil legal aid customer - a special needs education case for my disabled son. The case was passed to Lawstop by phone and email as the Civil Legal Aid team said they were the company I had to contact. After contacting them, I waited and didn't receive a callback, so I called again a week later. After over two weeks, I still hadn't received any communication. Today I emailed, and the response is that Lawstop is unable to take on new cases at the moment. I understand they don't get paid well for Civil Legal Aid cases. However, they still need to contact Civil Legal Aid customers and inform them that they are too busy as soon as they can, so they have the opportunity to find another solicitor. They have wasted precious time before my hearing, a delay that will likely impact the education of my disabled son. I'm sure they are excellent as solicitors and lawyers, but their communication skills certainly have room for improvement.
