Simply a better driver
I've driven for over 40 years and can honestly say that lightfoot has taught me to be a better driver in the last few years. Even when you drive a vehicle without Lightfoot, it becomes apparent that your driving style has changed for the better.

The app is never up to date the so called prizes are a joke if you are lucky you will win probably 2 pounds a year and that is if you enter every week nobody knows where they are in the league don't worry about getting a low score because no manager is bothered

Hi John, the driver's app occasionally has data latency issues from the server, but other than on the odd occasion, your driver's app is always up to date with your journey information and score data. We know drivers always want to win more, so the win ratio in our drivers' lottery is set to 1 in 9 every single week, and for the last few weeks, we have guaranteed a £5 minimum win amount as well, based on driver feedback.

A massive distraction
To be honest it's not a safe driving tool. It beeps if you don't shift gear before 2krpm it doesn't beep if you're speeding (surely that would have made sense to have if it's to make you a safer driver) . Just another tool to distract you from driving with an led light bar and beeps with a condescending woman saying drive steady. Don't put your employees through this.

Please remember that you are in control of the vehicle and should use your own best judgment to drive safely. Lightfoot does not measure your speed but the efficiency of your driving. There are times when you must drive inefficiently, for example, joining a motorway from a slip road or at a roundabout. This is why we set the Elite Driver score at 85% to allow for real-world situations. Your device should be positioned just outside of your eyeline, so you only need to glance at it occasionally, as you would a speedometer or a satnav when you want to check your progress.

Unfortunately, Tesco helps fund Earnie for their employees only. Lightfoot competitions are funded only by Lightfoot and for all our drivers across hundreds of fleets, but we still have great odds of 1 in 9 every week.
It’s really not set up for a hybrid van…
It’s really not set up for a hybrid van when you’re accelerating to join the motorway and you’re in red and you let off the acceleration pedal and it goes into electric mode the Lightfoot doesn’t realise you’re still driving so it stays in red and amber for ages. Even when you’re in red and then stop at traffic lights it stays in red and amber for ages which reflects badly on your score.
Also another big issue is going up a slight incline or hill and you’re doing 35 in a 60 and you’re not able to accelerate anymore because the automatic hybrid van doesn’t allow you to change down a gear so it’s in full revs all the way up the hill which results in 5 points against you!
How are you meant to stop it screaming at you when it’s not built for a high torx 253bhp hybrid van ? Unbelievable

Problem resolved in less that 24 Hours
Contacted Lightfoot as since being on the app with my work fleet vehicle I wasn’t able to see my company Leagues. I emailed them on Monday and they replied and resolved my issue within 24 hours. Fantastic service.
Also great incentive if sign up to the app, get to win prizes via driving each week. In 2 Months have Won 3 lots of £3 just for driving for work. Paid straight to my PayPal account.
