Honest Review – Do Not Work Here

I am sharing my experience to highlight serious ongoing issues at this company. Safety is consistently disregarded, with pallets frequently falling from racking due to missing fixings and damaged equipment. On one occasion a pallet fell on staff, yet workers were wrongly blamed. Reporting these issues results in hostility and shouting, and the company’s public claim of no accidents or near misses is completely false—incidents including falling pallets and MHE collisions go unrecorded.

Equipment is often faulty or unsuitable: devices used in freezers fail regularly as they are not designed for low temperatures, yet staff are still penalised for missing pick rates. Aisles are frequently overcrowded, making targets unachievable. Basic PPE such as freezer coats is often refused even when available, and staff are expected to operate machinery with no formal training.

Management is unprofessional and hostile; concerns are met with verbal abuse rather than action. When auditors visit, operations are halted to create a false impression of order, then staff are criticised for delays. Pay is regularly incorrect and corrections take time, and employees are treated as disposable with very high turnover. This company shows no regard for safety or staff welfare and it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured. I strongly advise avoiding this workplace.

Just watched a video of this company and its staff members abusing and threatening a member of the public, doing a perfectly legal activity in a public place.

I had a very disappointing working experience with Lineage Logistics Ltd in the Finance Team (I purposely mentioned the team as there are other divisions at their Whakatu premises, NZ). From the start, there were false promises by the manager and a lack of constructive positive communication within the team. The two colleagues were very unfriendly, rude and verbally abusive. There was very poor training in spite of the high volume of data to be processed, and the diversity of activities and conditions. While the Billing and Contract position is a simple job it must be done correctly in order not to overcharge/undercharge the customers whose accounts deal with huge numbers with different conditions/rates in their contracts. Also, the weekly and monthly deadlines must be met with proper performance. There were lots of hours of unpaid overtime done, and not even positive appreciation from the team for such a sacrifice on my part. But, in fact, it was the constant displeasure by them which aggravated the stress and put me down, instead of speedy settlement into the job position. The role has a high turnover rating within a short time period which highlights that something is wrong there. And, I believe, there is poor management that leads to an unprofessional environment and poor culture of the organisation.
