Mine was not an urgent call and I made that plain during the telephone call. However they said that they would be with me in a couple of hours. The job was done professionally. However I am extremely shocked at the pricing. Call out fee £59 + VAT. Labor £59 + VAT for less than an hours work.

I needed a new Gearbox £155 + VAT Later priced at £19.99

and a new barrel £45 + VAT Later priced at £13.99
I would definitely not recommend this company and will be warning all my friends and family to avoid them at all costs. my total bill was £381 to have a new gearbox and barrel fitted. I am appalled.

Locked out of front door

Arrived punctually, Marian repaired garage handle without have to buy a new one, highly skilled & efficient intelligent worker. I was a bit dismayed at the price of the job for an hour’s work, top-end of locksmith rates, but he was invaluable in discovering the garage locking system was misaligned and he then went about fixing it ! The lock on my kitchen door jammed and I couldn't lock it. Called Locksub, and was dealt with efficiently. Within seconds of the call I received an email to say that Andy would be in touch with an ETA. Andy rang a minute later and was at my house in 20 minutes. Diagnosed and fixed the problem with the door and serviced it. As this hadn't taken up an hour's callout, he asked if there were any other problems with doors. He then proceeded to adjust and service my garden door. Throughout he was giving hints and tips on how to keep the doors in good fettle. A very pleasant and helpful operative. Thank you Andy 😊

When pottering around In my garden I popped back into the house but when closing the door behind me it wouldn't close, the latch was jammed. There is a well known locksmith in my area which was my first choice, but to my surprise he wouldn't come out that day, which was obviously of no use to me.
After a quick Google search I came across LockSub and decided to give them a call.
The Lady I spoke was sympathetic and polite, she informed me there was a locksmith in the area and that he would contact me shortly.
Within 5 minutes I was contacted by Marian who informed me he would be with me within 20 minutes and sure enough he was.
Marian quickly diagnosed an issue with the gearing within the door lock mechanism and assured me he would rectify the issue in no time.
Marian stripped the mechanism and showed me the defective parts, he explained in full the costs involved and me great advice in how best to avoid the situation reoccurring.
I thoroughly recommend LockSub as I could not fault the service I received from both LockSub and Marian the friendly Locksmith.

Great service .Explains fully all the job. Got to us 25 mins after calling. Would recommend this company. Reasonable charges.

Contacted company and was quoted £59 for call out and £20 if replacement lock was required. Locksmith did not have correct tools with him, had to leave site, returning hours later to complete job. Door was left damaged and with wood shavings mess on floor. Locksmith did not give any indication that job would cost more than quote but then demanded payment of £358 before he would leave.

Polite and quick work from professionals.
I could only recommend Marian's great work.
