We are a family run business, based in Halton Lancashire, and we've been selling fuels to homes and restaurants since 2004. Our specialised kiln dries our firewood onsite to under 20% moisture, making it perfect for long, hot burns and cleaner chimneys. It's also better for the environment as it produces less emissions. As FSC members, we are committed to keeping the business as Eco-friendly as possible, so the majority of our wood comes from Britain, though we do also support projects and businesses in Europe (and even South Africa!). You can find oak, ash, beech, birch, and alder being kiln dried on any given day up at the yard, so no matter your preference, we'll be able to help you. Our logs come in various sizes depending on your need, from 20kg carry-bags all the way up to 1.6 cubic meter bulk bags. We even sell the log stores to go with them, alongside a range of fireside accessories like baskets, coalhods, firefighters and kindling. Whether our customers want to cook pizza, heat their homes, fire their BBQs, or light their campfires, we've got something for everyone- even gardening products! Did you know we supply top quality topsoil, compost, and bark to gardens and farms across the country, free of delivery charge to most postcodes?

But the person who delivered my order had covered the logs with a plastic sheet that we had by the Log store

I absolutely would NOT recommend buying…
I absolutely would NOT recommend buying from Logs Direct. I ordered 3 bags of kiln dried logs from Logs Direct via Tesco Marketplace and only received one. I tried countless times to get a refund (sent photo, receipt etc) and spoke to staff on 'phone who assured me this would be dealt with but it was not and eventually - after 4 months!! - I have had to concede that they clearly have no intention of refunding me the £30 that they owe me/delivering the 2 bags that I didn't receive. I provided my bank details, asked them to check with their driver for evidence, etc but they blatantly ignored all my communications via email and when I spoke direct, after saying it would be refunded each time/someone would call me back, I have never received the money I am owed. Do not buy from them!

Unfortunately, as your order was placed through Tesco Marketplace, the refund process is entirely under their control. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly; this must be handled by Tesco.
We strongly encourage you to reach out to Tesco’s customer service team again, as they are the ones who can assist with the refund or missing items. We truly wish we could have done more in this situation, but please understand that it is out of our hands and not a reflection on us as a company.

Partly unusable order
Received my order of a net bag of small pizza oven logs, it came quickly and looked ok but when I opened it there were multiple very large pieces that would not fit in my Ooni oven. So I ended up with about 85-90% of what I thought I was getting. I contacted logs direct and sent them photos but had no response despite two emails. I will now go back to my previous supplier for future orders.

First class service as usual
This was my third purchase delivered as promised, the driver was polite and friendly he skillfully reversed his vehicle right to the point that I needed my compost placed. Highly recommended company I will definitely be making more purchases in the future.
