Thank you for the 5-star review and for travelling with us to Kuala Lumpur and Borneo. We’re delighted your private tour ran smoothly, and that our guides’ knowledge, warmth and the central hotel locations made a real difference.

I’m sorry the Damai stay fell short. While the setting and team clearly impressed, your comments about the property’s condition and dining are noted. We’ve already escalated this to the hotel’s management and scheduled our own quality audit. We’re also updating our description to ensure it reflects the current standard on the ground and avoids implying a “5-star restaurant” experience where that isn’t accurate. For future trips in the Santubong/Damai area, we can propose alternative stays of a similar category, or pair a beach base with city nights for stronger dining options.

This is exactly where the Lumle Difference comes in: small, well-supported tours, handpicked hotels, and honest, responsive aftercare—if something isn’t right, we fix it and improve the next departure.
