They booked a job online with their office for Thursday, assuring me it would be completed the following Tuesday. Foolishly, I paid for the work based on this promise. However, when Tuesday arrived, no builders showed up, and I received a phone call stating that the job was double-booked. Since then, I have received multiple promises, but no work has been completed. By June of this year, it will be the second year I have been waiting.

Additionally, my household insurance was revoked until I could confirm that the job had been carried out, which required me to supply invoices and receipts. Once again, I have not received any receipts, invoices, or guarantees/warranties for the work that was supposed to be done. I feel foolish in believing what they told me, and as far as I am concerned, they used me as a Bank to fund their business for several thousand pounds! I have not had the original work carried out right up to this day.

Their time keping was a bit lax but they did have a two hour journey. They stripped the old panels off but couldn't get all the rails off so used the old ones them. Only 8 of the panels were registered with Solar Edge so 2 didn't show up because they swapped out 2 of the working optimisers and replaced them with 2 dud ones so when I could finally get on the monitoring site and quoted the numbers to Solar Edge, they told me that they were allocated to a different site and had died the year before, but the were working before I had the new panels installed. They fitted some of the old working panels onto my garage roof, the invoice stated a new inverter but I found out later that it was a second hand one with almost 16,000 kWh on the clock. My conclusion is... beware, cowboys!!!

Wouldn’t even give 1 star as Luv energy Ltd took a deposit to do the work we agreed for him to do.
He never turned up at the agreed time and day of the work to be done, 9am 20th December 2023. He never phoned to say he wasn’t turning up on the day!!
I left voicemail and emails. When he finally answered my call he said he couldn’t get a part! Which I found strange, as you would surely know at least the day before starting the work you didn’t have a part.
His communication skills are terrible, He never phoned me back to let me know what was happening? He didn’t phone me or email me as promised. In the end my husband finally got through to him, and he hadn't got any start dates, or materials to do the job? Because of this I have asked for my deposit back, as it was given in good faith for him to start at 9am on 20th December 2023, or at least another start date!
He has not replied to my phone calls, emails and no deposit given back.
Wish I had checked the reviews on him before agreeing to the work, as I’m not the only person he has done this too! BEWARE
