Mayfair Worktops Avis 70

I have used Mayfair worktops now on two occasions. On the first occasion, I was reasonably happy with the quality of the worktops and the entire process went fairly smoothly. However, the hob cut out wasn’t cut exactly where it should have been. It was approximately 15mm out and this was clearly evident (even to the untrained eye). I was able to move the hob over a few millimetres to try to compensate for this but it was still noticeable as it wasn’t central to the splash back. Fast forward 3 years and I moved house and decided to give Mayfair the benefit of the doubt and I allowed them to fit my worktops and 2 large splash backs in my newer and larger property. When placing the order, I highlighted the fact that the last fit they did for me was far from perfect and I asked that extra attention could be made this time. There had clearly been some poor templating or manufacturing which had resulted in the hob cut out being out of position and I didn’t want the same thing to happen again.
This time round, the hob cut out was in the correct position, however, I have a total of 8 sockets on my kitchen walls which needed apertures creating when the 2 large splash backs were designed and manufactured. Not one of these apertures lined up with the back plates and I wasn’t able to re-screw the face plates back to the 8 sockets. I had to pay an electrician to chop away some plaster on each of the sockets, move the sockets over so that they lined up with the poorly placed apertures and then he was able to re-screw the face plates back.
Would I recommend Mayfair to my family and friends? Certainly not! If you are going to use them, I would strongly advise you to have an electrician on hand to overcome issues such as these. I had to go without hot water and heating for 24 hours too because one of the sockets that I couldn’t screw back was the power supply for my combi boiler. The overall quality of the worktops are fine. The fit and finish when it comes to the accuracy of the apertures was simply shocking.

Mayfair made everything easy, from quoting to templating and installation. Three installers arrived and they did a first rate job and were complete professionals. Any time I had a query and had to call the office I was dealt with quickly and effectively. Great experience

An excellent company we chose to replace our kitchen / utility room worktops with new quartz worktops.
From initial quotation, templating visit, and fitting visit, all were conducted in a very professional manner, and at a given time to suit our timeframe.

Got our mojo back due to Mayfair. Let down by our kitchen company who were supposed to be supplying and fitting a quartz worktop. Baring in mind this was two weeks before Xmas and they assured us the worktop will be templated and fitted for Xmas. Got in touch with Mayfair due to reviews on Google and they managed to template the work surface on 12th December and fit it on 19th. Very professional finish and well pleased with the product would definitely recommend them to friends and family.😊

Used this company via Interiors 4 Living as part of our kitchen renovation. Like that they have a showroom so that you can view the quartz before confirming your choice. Excellent communication, very professional and efficient. Home measurement, and on the day of fitting the guys were on time, speedy and did a great job. What can I say… Amazing from start to finish. After renovating my first home and dealing with lots of tradesman Mayfair Worktops were by far the best company to deal with. No delays, No issues just straight forward from the point of order to delivery and installation. Me and my fiancé couldn’t believe how quick the whole process was. We went for the Calcatta quartz with cream and grey veining and we are over the moon with how this has really finished off our kitchen diner. Right from the first contact with Mayfair, I was so impressed with the customer service and the desire to get me what I wanted at a price I considered to be more than reasonable. The templating was carried out by a really knowledgeable Mayfair representative, talking me through the process to ensure he gave me just what I wanted.
I was warned by my Kitchen Fitter that he had jobs recently where it took 4 weeks from templating to delivery. Obviously I was worried the work would stop so I rang Mayfair, the Templating was done on a Tuesday and they fitted the work surface on the following Monday.
This was such a great company to deal with and I have no hesitating recommending this really top company.
