We recently purchased 4 VA-3GDF-B 3 glass door freezers.
I would like to commend Vortex Refrigeration for their excellent customer service. From the initial inquiry to the final delivery, the Vortex team was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. They were always available to answer any questions and provide guidance throughout the purchasing process.
We have been using these freezers for 2 months now, and we are impressed with their quality and performance. The glass doors provide excellent visibility of the contents inside, making it easy to quickly identify what is stored in each unit. The temperature control is precise, and the freezers maintain a consistent temperature.

Figure u would say that, how does one inspect the item, when it’s cover with 50lbs of cardboard and driver was in out in a flash, that’s why u have insurance for ur biz…. Please

Terrible
Terrible. Bought a pizza table that broke down after 1 year. When I called they said call a technician because they only cover the compressor after a year. Also, the representative or manager(if you can call that a manager) was having an attitude. What kind of product that are new can’t even make it 5 years without problems? Go somewhere else with better warranty and customer service.

Wow! Customer service was great. I talked to the customer service rep on the phone and he was able to assist and help in anyway possible. This was my first time buying restaurant equipment and I will definitely come back to vortex. The manager made the experience great and he was helpful with any questions I had. My equipment works like a charm and it came brand new in a box. Very clean equipment. Thanks Vortex!
Super shady company. Very untrustworthy
The freezer was ordered new from QNG, Inc. via Amazon on May 19, 2020. The freezer was delivered on May 28, 2020.
On July 17, the freezer malfunctioned destroyed approximately $1,600 in merchandise. We contacted QNG, Inc., and also the manufacturer, Vortex Refrigeration, who appear to be the same company. Vortex indicated that they would not send anyone out, as there was nothing wrong with the freezer. After 2-3 phone calls, Vortex contacted Nieland Refrigeration to send a tech out to look at the freezer. Nieland determined that the cause of the malfunction was loose connections to the wires connected to the thermostat, which they determined was a manufacturing issue. Nieland fixed the issue and submitted the invoice to Vortex who paid for the repair.
On August 6, I contacted QNG for a refund of the unit after Vortex and QNG opted not to replace the lost merchandise. On August 8, QNG indicated that Vortex told them that the Nieland tech had indicated that the malfunction was caused by an external electrical event, which was noted on the invoice received by QNG from Vortex, but not on the invoice sent to Vortex from Nieland. I asked for a copy of the invoice that went from Vortex to QNG, but to this day have not received a copy. Nieland Refrigeration also stated that Vortex called them and requested the invoice to be altered to say that the defect was caused by an external electrical event, which Nieland refused to do.
On August 11, the freezer again malfunctioned and I contacted QNG about a refund and returning the freezer. I also contacted Vortex. Vortex again contacted Nieland and sent a repair tech out. The tech not only indicated that the freezer was out of coolant, but Vortex also asked them to provide documentation of improper use of the unit to clear their responsibility for any further repairs. Nieland took the requested photos, which showed no misuse or improper installation of the unit.
Vortex indicated that they would give a refund of the unit, but I have to prepare the unit for shipping, and it would have to arrive back at their facility to be inspected before a refund would be submitted. That did not feel like an appropriate solution, given that Vortex had already exhibited that they would make any excuse not to give a refund.
I opted to attempt to resolve the issue through Amazon, and requested a return label on August 12, August 13, August 18, August 22, August 29, September 1, September 23, and October 19. QNG has deferred to Vortex's return offer, but since we have discovered that QNG and Vortex are operating out of the same location and utilizing the same website, I am less inclined to trust that a refund will be coming once the product is shipped back to the manufacturer.

Poor customer service.The freezer is great just not enough shelves. We have called many times to try to order more shelves and get nothing but a runaround. I'm not asking for something free i will pay.. So the customer service is horrible. Finally reached Vortex it seems it was mostly a miscommunication. I didn't see the email that was sent confirming they were sending me an invoice. So were on our way to getting shelves for our Freezer. Well that wasn't worth it. I corrected my review saying it was miscommunication. That was what the company wanted or i wouldn't get my shelves. That wasn't good enough for them. They refused to send me new shelves because the new review wasn't enough. How can a company like this refuse to sell you something and stay in business. So buyer BEWARE I have never dealt with people like this and will never do it again. I found shelves that fit elsewhere and at a much cheaper price.

I've been calling vortex and emailing…
I've been calling vortex and emailing (Mike the service manager specifically) for a while and havent gotten a response. We ordered a part for a refrigerator on the 7/2 and paid for the part. We received no tracking info and the part is still not delivered and Mike wont return our calls. It's been almost 2 weeks with no update.
I just spoke with Angelo and he explained to me the delay, there seemed to be a lapse in communication with the shipping company and me. The good news is the part is on the way!

Ordered a 3 door refrigerator 3 months ago. It arrived within 3 days of placing the order. I had ordered a freezer early last year from a well known online retailer and I waited 2 weeks to receive it. The refrigerator has been running great and I will be buying more refrigeration from Vortex.

Ordered my kegerator on a Monday, had it delivered by Thursday. Got a dent in shipment, but company was easy to deal with and we decided to keep it at a discount. The kegerator is great quality for the money - comparable competitors were sometimes twice the price! So far I am very happy with my purchase!

The buying of the glass door reach-in refrigerator was great. No problem. I would buy from Vortex again. The only problem was delivery. The dispatcher gave me a 4-hour window, and called me to confirm. I waited 4 hours and the truck driver called and left a message on my home answering machine wanting to know if I was going to be at the delivery address. We connected 30 minutes before the end of the 4 hours and he could not make it. He re-scheduled for the next day, with another 4-hour window. He arrived 30-minutes before the end of the 4-hour wait. To me this was unacceptable.

Arrived Quickly, Has 3 dents was told by the sales rep that I should have unwrapped it entirely before I let the truck go, this is no small job and it arrived at lunch time and I am part of the crew so it wasn’t possible. When I called he said he would see what he could do to resolve this problem, and get back to me -so far nothing has happened and I haven’t been contacted tomorrow will be a week since it arrived. It’s a nice unit too bad its banged up let the buyer beware.
