They have already sent me three letters. I keep writing to them and providing information showing that I don’t owe them anything, but they still keep sending letters and trying to put me into debt. I think I may have to contact the police because this is becoming unbearable. I already paid them once, even though I don’t understand what I was paying for. I thought they would leave me alone, but no — they are asking for money again. They don’t even read my emails.

Scrappy firm happy to break the law over junk fees.
Egregious junk debt firm who were quite happy picking up an illegitimate debt from eBay Commerce and harassing me over it for months during knowledge of an investigation by the Ombudsman- which is against the FCA guidelines it and eBay commerce is regulated by. I was defrauded by a buyer on eBay who'd sent back a ruined item but eBay decided I should be out of pocket for that. Moorcroft were all too happy taking eBay's orders like a lapdog for their junk fees. Their staff won't help you; don't give them a inch of goodwill.

Debt recovery for £21, WOW
I was contacted out of the blue regarding an unpaid final O2 bill of £21, which I had completely forgotten about. While I accept that the missed payment was my mistake, referring such a small amount to a debt recovery company seems excessive.
The reason I was unaware of the issue is that O2 supplied an old address rather than the address linked to my account, so I never received any letters regarding the forgotten outstanding balance.
What I found particularly frustrating was that the agent could not tell me whether this had impacted my credit rating. As the company had been instructed to recover the debt, I would have expected them to have access to that information or at least be able to point me in the right direction. I have since contacted O2 and am awaiting clarification, but its been a while and still no answer.
To be fair, the call handler was courteous and professional throughout, and I have no complaints about how the call was managed.
Still, I cannot help but question whether the administrative and postage costs involved in recovering a £21 debt were worthwhile. If O2 had of called me, I would of paid avoiding all this busywork.

Moorcroft keep ringing me most mornings and its never an actual person, always an automated service looking for someone with a different name to me, today I received a text message looking for the same name, I've followed the link in the text message no way to contact to let them know they have the wrong number, I have had my phone number for nearly 30 years so not sure how you got it linked to this other person, there is a phone number on the website, but why should I? If you look their phone number up on 'who called me' others say the same keep ringing looking for somebody else. do better!! sloppy service

Extremely slow and unhelpful response online
Trying to talk to company online about an unused phone number that O2 refused to cancel and eventually I had to cancel the direct debit. Have been on chat for over 20 minutes and the person is delaying responding by asking for personal details that they are already aware of every few minutes.

The Moorcroft agents that I have dealt with have been very helpful, friendly, respectful and non judgemental. In all honesty I'd rather deal with Moorcroft agents than the company in question.
