At Mr Fothergill's our aim is to provide a product range for all your gardening needs from flower and vegetable seed to young plants, potatoes, onions, garlic, shallots, veg plants soft fruit and fruit trees. We are sure that from the amateur to the enthusiast there is something to meet your requirements. We genuinely care for our customers and insist that the quality of all our seeds and plants and level of customer service are of the highest standards. However we are only human and very occasionally things do go wrong, but please rest assured, we will always do our very best to put things right. Should you be dissatisfied for any reason, we will gladly send replacements or refund the purchase price upon request. (Our contact lines are currently open 8am-6pm weekdays, 9am-5pm weekends and bank holidays)

Great seeds
Great seeds, lovely range and good prices. Shame we had such a hot dry summer as what I planted didn't do so well. Will be ordering again soon to try again.

Delivery service was very good actually…
Delivery service was very good actually quicker than estimated. The shears weren't of the best quality as the blade got a nick out the cutting edge with in 5 mins so had to wet stone the nick out and resharpen but then for £25. Apart from that all is good. Many thanks Graham

Not good …
Half the order arrived but other item we had to wait weeks and weeks for. No email to explain why ? It was a birthday present too so missed the occasion. Won’t be using again.

This company has restored my faith in humanity. Going over and above what would be expected is so rare in the world today, that when it happens we are not quite sure how to react. My enquiry for a small replacement part, a spring for a set of secateurs, availability/price, was immediately replied to confirming that the required item was in the post free of charge.
