Their speed dating events are cool and well organised. The 3-4 events I have attended so far have been fun and engaging. When there are low turn outs, they preemptively communicate to minimize disappointments and make amends through discounts whenever necessary. Thank you guys for organising!

it was okay, open to trying again
I would say initially it seemed a little disorganized when I arrived, but I can imagine as the person hosting the event when people don't show, you have to pivot. The age range varied quite a bit which was okay. I think there were more women than men. I would be open to trying it again because honestly anything is better than online dating.

I Felt Unsafe as a Woman
Updated to add that I felt very unsafe at the last event. Despite leaving feedback on the creepy guy’s score card detailing how he kept touching me and made me very uncomfortable, he was still allowed back. My cousin also left feedback that he made her uncomfortable at the same event. I went to a second event and he was there. When I saw him approaching my table, I got up and told the host that I met him last time, he was very handsy, and made me uncomfortable. She quickly put a different guy at my table and told the creeper “You met her before. You can skip her,” to which he yelled angrily “I never met her before!” He then proceeded to argue loudly with the host when she asked him to leave. He stomped back and forth angrily in front of my table, and I was scared he’d actually approach me or wait for me outside. Luckily, when I left the venue had a staff member stationed outside and the creeper wasn’t there.
It's a mixed bag. Most of the men are inoffensive. There was one that was charming and one man that was very creepy and awkward. I was not the only woman that felt that way. I'm glad that you're able to leave comments on specific people you meet. Something tells me that creep will be banned.

To clarify, daters do not have the ability to leave feedback directly on another’s scorecard. Instead, one may choose to connect or decline to meet again. The columns provided are simply a way to help remember who was who, along with their picture and any details you wish to include.
Anytime a dater has a poor experience with another guest, we always encourage them to immediately notify the host or contact our office — we’re available 24/7. We take those concerns seriously, and anyone who does not meet our standard of being respectful and lovely is not invited back. Your comfort and enjoyment remain our top priorities.
That said, we don’t have any record or exchange of any daters having such an exchange. If you could kindly reach out, we’d be glad to better assist and look into this further.

Mostly a positive experience
The person coordinating the event was personable and spoke clearly. Instructions were easy enough to follow. I have only been to one event so far and it didn't have a ton of people, less than 10, so that wasn't the greatest. On the other hand, you only have time to talk to so many people. The free-form format of conversation worked with some people and was kind of awkward with others as well.

I’ve only been to one of their events and have not hung to compare it to, but I thought it was well organized and was a good way to meet other singles from the area. The admin staff communicated well and I’d recommend an event to anyone looking to go out and meet some new faces.

If you must know specifically, Time Market as venue is a terrible venue. There's hardly any privacy, the table gets too crowded and we are too close to each other that we can hardly hear the person we are talking to talk. I literally have to shout in order to be heard and vice versa. Oftentimes the host venue is not properly prepared and does not put the proper signage up in advance. Also often times the person hosting the event does not get there early enough to set up properly and I literally have to search around for them. Please do better and picking your venues properly. Lastly I am well aware how the Love Game Works, you properly exploit and patronize your customers. Please do better with that as well.

We do appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts — after all, it’s feedback like this that keeps us on our toes (and in our heels) after 18 years and events in 50 cities worldwide.
On signage — we keep things intentionally low-key. Large “SPEED DATING THIS WAY!” signs might be fun for some, but they’d clash with the venue’s atmosphere and turn our chic soirée into a spectator sport for other patrons. We much prefer the “Is this it? Oh yes, it is…” sort of discovery — discreet, sophisticated, and very much our style.
Our hosts arrive in time for the structured portion, but we adore giving guests a chance to mingle naturally first. It’s amazing how many sparks fly over those pre-event conversations before the official bells (well, figurative ones) even start ringing.
Venues are chosen with care — balancing atmosphere, service, and location — but we know tastes vary. Time Out is actually one of the city’s most popular date spots, loved for its lively atmosphere and fantastic food options, but we’ll certainly take your comments on board and share them with the venue.
We’d love to welcome you again — perhaps at another of our events — to show you why, after nearly two decades and a presence in 50 cities, so many daters keep coming back for more.

Good way to meet genuine singles
The people I’ve met at their events were genuine, and I like their structured approach to dating. 5 minutes isn’t enough to really get to know a person, but it is better than going to some of the “get drinks and mingle around” events.
