Just wanted to say that this company has very high standards and are true craftsman when it comes to making beds .
My finally arrived on Sunday and to say I was absolutely delighted with the craftsmanship and finish to their beds .
I bought a single bed with sprung mattress and ottoman design .
I have an excellent king size bed but had to resort to getting a good single bed due to my husbands bad snoring .
I’m looking forward to many good nights of quality sleep in my new bed !!! Fantastic Craftsmanship @Mychildsroom 🙂

I'm really happy with my purchase from this company. The bed is excellent quality-
comfortable, well-made, and the colour was just as described. The customer service team was friendly and helpful whenever I had questions, and was messaging to update and checkup throughout the delivery process.
Overall, a very positive experience and I’d definitely recommend them to others!

Ordering the bed was very smooth. The ottoman bed for my daughter is lovely and she's so happy with it. Exactly as described. Delivery was slightly longer than I expected but it was worth the wait and actually gave me time to get my daughter's room ready. Delivery drivers were very polite.

Great communication, extremely happy with both beds very well made and sturdy, bonus that the ottoman beds base was already built and all put together only had to attach headboard to base which made it super easy. Very well wrapped and delivered with care! Only down side was I ordered the beds 1st of April and they didn’t arrive untill 11th may but was well worth the wait and have 2 extremely happy boys with their new beds

I am happy with my order. Headboard I ordered is well made, I had a chance to choose material as samples were sent to my address. We had a delay with delivery, however when we found a suitable date and time for both of us - driver came within agreed time slot.

Amazing pink blush ottoman bed. Daughter loves it. Now makes her bed everyday. No problem with ordering had fantastic service throughout till delivery. Delivery time was a little longer but it was soo worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered a single side lift ottoman bed early April 2025, arrived 3 weeks later.n My daughter absolutely loves it. The bed is well made and we will be ordering again from them soon.
Delivery drivers were great, kept me updated about delay on the day, put it into my room downstairs as requested.

We had a great experience with this company. The website had a wide choice of beds and even the option to custom build. We ordered samples so we could see the material before ordering. The lead time was in line with what the website stated and there were clear comms via WhatsApp the day before to let us know of delivery. We received a message on the day with an hour slot so we didn't have to wait in all day. The bed looks great! Great experience, thank you!

Placed an order for a single bed at the start of January - after confirmation and payment, was emailed to inform of a delivery surcharge of £60 to get it to Aberdeen to our courier, for us to ship to Shetland, extra fee to Aberdeen wasn't made clear before purchase.
Confirmation stated delivery would be 7-14 days, however, end of January had heard nothing, so emailed asking for an update, to be told they were estimated to deliver the following week and would be in touch.
As we are in Shetland, delivery can often take a little longer than expected, so just left it and heard nothing for the whole of February.
Emailed the beginning of March, expressing my concern, to be informed they were finalising delivery routes and would get back to me - almost 2 weeks later, I had to contact them again and say it needed to be shipped or I wanted a refund.
Response was that their courier was booked the following week - unsurprisingly, it never turned up. Emails and phonecalls to them, led to the news that the courier hadn't got there on time so it was taken all the way back to Leeds and no-one bothered to tell us. This happened twice, then they stopped responding to emails.
This was now the beginning of April, we had to demand a full refund, which we then had to phone constantly about for another week and finally threaten to put a claim through PayPal, before the bed was refunded. Had to chase them again for a day for the delivery surcharge to be refunded.
Disgusting customer service, never got an explanation as to what had gone wrong.

Ordered 2 single side lift ottoman beds, the quality of the beds is fantastic I can't fault them. The delivery drivers however were very clumsy and broke my mums cuckoo clock. I also paid. £120 assembly fee for beds that didn't need assembling but after alot of back and forth and a PayPal dispute they refunded it. But the bed fantastic the process of getting them and the delivery drivers not so great.

My daughter is in love with her new pink bed. Delivery took nearly 4 weeks, but it was worth the wait. Smooth instalation at good price. Happy with the quality and the mattress is very comfy- great experience! Thank you.

I ordered my bed back in January and I was worried about the timing of the bed as I got it on march 2nd so two months after buying the bed. But the waiting was worth it. The bed is perfect. The right colour. The right headboard. Was easy to set up. Got amazing storage. Right material. When the delivery men came they were good with letting me know how long they are from my house. The carried the bed up to my house with care. And didn’t damage the bed. Very good condition. Very pleased with the outcome. Very good communication letting me know when and what time they are coming. They were also good with my timing too due to me not being home for a while they were patient with the delivery themselves. They were very polite on the phone and also text. Very please with this. Definitely would buy from here again. Brought two beds now from this company and both beds have been good condition.

I phoned for help after being caught out with a rubbish bed elsewhere. When I asked about how the bed was made they sent whats app pictures and were very helpful ad well as stunned when told how the previous bed was made.

The bed is fantastic quality yes it took about a month I think it was but seriously worth the wait. Son had a velvet feel ottoman small double. The amout of storage is just astounding, now my 13 year old wants one in green. I honestly wish they did king size as I would like one.

It's a great height and inside depth is better then any other we found for a similar price.

The only thing that concerned us is a notification we may have to pay drivers a fee however on phoning them this was just in Irland so was just a confusion. The bed arrived around 6am but they were so quite with my older son I didn't even hear them.

We will return to get my youngest sons new bed soon.

Excellent quality and value. Very pleased with the ottoman bed that I have purchased.

Extremely Disappointing Experience
I had a frustrating experience with My Child’s Room and would not recommend them.

1. Order Placement & Unexpected Delivery Charge
• I ordered two beds and headboards on 26th December 2024. The order confirmation came on 6th January 2025, stating a 7-14 day delivery time.
• On the same day, I was informed of a £150 delivery surcharge to Northern Ireland, which was not shown at checkout. After negotiation, this was reduced to £40, payable via PayPal or cash upon delivery instead of through their official system.

2. Delivery Delays & Poor Communication
• The beds were due by 28th January, then 4th February 2025 but arrived on 11th February, after multiple delays and poor communication.

3. Product Quality Issues
• The beds arrived with missing bolts, unstable headboards, and poor workmanship, making assembly difficult.

4. Delivery & Unexpected Additional Charge
• The delivery driver arrived alone, leaving me to assist to carry heavy items from the truck into my home.
• He placed the beds in the hallway instead of the correct room and asked for an additional £10 to help carry them upstairs. Since I had no assistance, I felt pressured to pay.

5. Refund Not Received
• Due to the issues, the company offered a 20% refund, but I have not received it. Despite follow-ups, they have not provided proof that it was processed.

6. Poor Customer Service
• When I raised my concerns, the response was unhelpful and dismissive.
• I requested email-only communication, but I received multiple text messages and calls instead.

Concerns
• Lack of transparency – Delivery surcharges were not disclosed upfront. It is mentioned on the website but no amounts are listed or processed during checkout.
• Unreliable delivery timelines – Multiple delays with poor communication.
• Product issues – Items arrived with missing parts and poor workmanship.
• Unexpected extra charges – Delivery assistance required and an additional payment.
• Unfulfilled refund promise – Refund not received despite assurances.

I have kept all correspondence and will be raising my concerns with Trading Standards. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
