We were camping in the area for four nights; and called into the Ewyas Harold store twice because it was so good!!
The best meat we have had! We are in our 7th decade of loving meat!!
The sirloin, ribeye and fillet steak are exceptional; the Welsh dragon sausage is the best!!
And the most important part is the lovely attentive and knowledgeable staff, who were so friendly, welcoming, and happy to advise.
We will definitely be ordering online!!

Second time ordering a rib of beef on the build up to Christmas - trialing sizes.

Both times the meat has been fantastic. But the customer service has been terrible after contacting them regarding a discrepancy.

2 weeks on and I’ve been passed around the houses from person to person. Promised phone calls back that never came.

Sue was too busy with her personal banking (her words), Mirian kept promising to call back, never did.

The first rib we bought online was a 2 rib at 2.8kg

The 4 rib we ordered a couple of weeks later was 4.3kg - if going off the maths of the first order we expected a 4 rib to be 5.6kg roughly, anything over 5kg, great. Speaking to one of the men In the butchers room they say on average expect a 4 rib to be 5- 5.5kg once trimmed.

Ultimately we were almost 1.5kg down in weight… so we were unsure what to expect when placing our Christmas order.

This was a simple fix to explain the reason for this and maybe offer a little discount and reassurance when ordering next time.

Feel hugely let down as we are massive fans of The Beefy Boys and that’s why we tried Neil Powell out.

You can have a great product but if your service surrounding it is bad, then it means nothing.

Disgruntled…. VERY!

I did not notice until I got home I was overcharged for 2 lamb chops I brought, they were rung up at £10-50 the same price and description as the shin of beef I brought. To add insult to injury the large (but small) steak and kidney pie I purchase was off. As we live 20 miles away I will not be taking the pie and the chops back.

Bought bacon and sausages, tasteless pork sausages and the bacon was just as bad, as for service this seemed far too much trouble for the miserable guy behind the counter! Very expensive as well.

My family have been gorging on the Monster BBQ pack for a few weeks now and we are very impressed by the quality of the meats. The meat is delivered fresh in a wool insulated recyclable parcel, which keeps the food nice and cold. Some of the best meat I have ever tasted, that doesn’t appear to shrink or expel fat (very meaty, very tasty).
