Easy website to use with wide choice of properties to rent. Description of property was very accurate, both in description & location. The property itself far exceeded our expectations. Was kept well informed beforehand as to how to get in, directions etc.

Beautiful clean quiet dog friendly bungalow. Secure garden. 10 minutes walk from one of the best dog friendly beaches in Norfolk. Perfect location for seeing Norfolk.

Had a really enjoyable stay at Orchard Barn in Whigton in Norfolk, celebrating my 50th birthday. Was in a great location for getting to Wells and Holkham and the house was very spacious, well stocked and nicely decorated and comfortable. We took 3 cars and got 2 parked on the driveway and the other opposite the house off the road.

Mulberry Cottage was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. We felt very comfortable staying there and the location was superb.

The property was in an excellent location. However the check in/out times were very poor 4pm check in you can live with 9am check out is unacceptable given it was clear the property had not been cleaned or checked on the day of our arrival as the property was full of cobwebs. The garden and fish pond needed some attention the poor fish might have died given how low the water was in the pond.

Gave 3 stars as cottage is in good position and has parking. However it needs a very deep clean. Really Dirty when we got there. Norfolk cottages did send cleaners in again. The bedrooms have no long hanging space and short hanging is in the eaves and do tops drag on floor. Bedroom door doesn’t open properly as it bangs on the bed. As there is no dishwasher you are reliant on residents washing up properly and they don’t. Shower upstairs is almost useless. Difficult to get into and then just about a dribble. Nowhere to put any toiletries. Furniture downstairs is nice, however the cottage needs a refurbishment. Saying that comes to mind is “all fur coat and no knickers”. Disappointing stay.

This is a great cottage in a lovely location and has comfy beds, washer & drier and plenty of extras, BUT there was no welcome pack this year, just 2 toilet rolls and barely enough handwash. We had to buy dishwasher salt & rinseaid. The cottage has not been maintained properly. The shower screen seal is broken and filthy, dishes were chipped and dirty, pans were rusty, windows need cleaning, the Bose speaker is broken, a garden chair is broken - another is covered in bird poo.

Norfolk Country Cottages and Original Cottages are great to book holidays with. The staff are always friendly, polite, helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Nothing is ever too much to assist with and they are knowledgeable and patient.

A beautiful and very equipped house right near the beach. Owners added a lot of extras to make your holiday experience even better.
It even has a warm shower outside to clean your fur babies paws after being at the beach. Lovely comfy beds too.
The only negative was that some of the bath towels very quite small.
Very good value for money.
Lovely view of the beach/ sea. Shops very near and loads of places to eat and to visit.

A wonderful dog friendly cottage for a relaxing break - the road to the property stops there, so there is no through traffic, just a few ramblers and the odd dog-walker (odd as in "a few", not odd as in peculiar!).

The cottage was well furnished, with everything we needed, a firm and comfortable bed, and marvellous sea views from the front windows and the conservatory at the back. Lots of books, DVDs and games/jigsaws in cupboards and a utility room.

A five minute walk to the beach (dogs allowed), and ten minutes to the nearest shop/post office, with an excellent chip shop just beyond. Two pubs within walking distance.

Pilgrim Cottage, Mundesley was an excellent property, well equipped, very comfortable. With a lovely village, shops and beautiful beach in walking distance and ideal choice for any family.

Excellent location, close to beach & shops. Exceptionally clean, cosy & welcoming. A lovely welcome basket on arrival. The owners were on hand for anything needed. Everything that was needed was there. These owners go over & beyond , to make this a lovely stay.

Have enjoyed 2 holidays with Norfolk Cottages. Have already booked another for next year. Wonderful properties in great locations. Norfolk Cottages communicate often leading up to your holiday to ensure that everything is ready for you to enjoy your holiday

We stayed in an apartment for two. It was beautifully clean and comfortable. Excellent lounge , adequate kitchen, nice welcome pack, comfy bedroom and nice shower room.
Good location for the town, seafront and lots of walks.

An excellent holiday where all found was what we were led to expect.

Booking the holiday was easy, completed in one telephone transaction. The property was exactly as described and maintained to a good standard. I was kept fully up to date as the holiday approached. Difficult to improve on excellence!

Great service, we were kept well informed as had to change our booking due to Covid restrictions in 2021.
Good communication throughout.

After several changes in dates partly because of Covid and partly because our old dog who was due to come with us was very poorly we finally got to have our long awaited holiday. Justine, the lady who manages the cottage books has been nothing but amazing throughout it all. Talking to the owner and re-arranging the dates several times. We have booked many cottages in the UK in the past but the level of service from Justine has been second to none. We would highly recommend.
