Ordering the 4x4GB of DDR3 RAM off the Orca Logic website was very easy. I chose the most basic (i.e. slowest) postal method and was happy to receive the package 2 days later. I was great to receive email updates about when each step of the process occurred, keeping me in the loop. I can fault the service or the RAM so far.

My netbook was slow when opening programs and the poor speed was beginning to make me consider my options. Buying a new netbook was an expensive option and would have been time consuming (looking for a new machine, installing all of the software again etc etc – bit of a nightmare). Whilst exploring my options on the internet I stumbled across the Orca logic website and was immediately given hope. The answer to my problem was in the first five lines of the site (a RAM upgrade) and the simple layout of the site meant that I was able to work out what I needed in less than 5 minutes. I decided to telephone the company to discuss the RAM upgrade and because I’m not very trusting of the internet. I got straight through to the most friendly woman I have ever spoken with when buying something and the impressive bit was that she really knew her stuff (I read the code from the back of my existing RAM chip and she knew what I needed). The whole discussion including buying the RAM took less than 10 minutes and I received a confirmation e-mail within a few minutes of ending the call. Amazingly, the RAM arrived the next day (which was a Saturday) with free standard delivery and I had the RAM installed and working within minutes. It has made a substantial difference and was exactly what I needed, plus it only cost just over £22. Other organisations could learn a lot from this friendly, efficient and reliable approach to service.

I wasn't sure which spec of RAM chips I had to order. I wrote to Orca and their rep helped me identify the RAM and also showed me my options, so I could select the one I wanted and order. RAM arrived as promised and works very well. Thanks. :)
