Papaya Plants Avis 

Sadly, I wouldn't use Papaya Plants again. I ordered 4 plants - 2 of which were potted up in an extremely heavy, completely unsuitable substrate for any type of thick-stemmed epiphytic Rhipsalis. I don't like to re-pot plants straight away because of stress, but I had no choice because they were just sitting damp for far too long and had visible stem rot. I removed the rot (which was also present on the roots) and treated what remained with 3% hydrogen peroxide before repotting it in a well-draining, airy mix in a pot with side ventilation. It's now past the 30 refund period, but both plants in question are almost certainly not going to survive. I've slowed the rot down, but what remains is struggling to recover from the combination of rot, shipping, and re-potting.

I know the plants will have been potted by a grower and Papaya Plants are effectively just the middle-man selling them on to customers, but it's annoying to throw money away on plants that were destined to fail from the get-go.

In addition, I left a 2 star review on their site for one of the plants, giving a detailed explanation as to why it got a low score, and they haven't included it on the product page (yet they accepted a positive review for one of the two healthy plants I purchased in the same order), so they obviously only include 4 and 5 star reviews on their site, making the review process completely pointless and biased.

The market is oversaturated with online houseplant shops and Papaya Plants doesn't sell anything unusual or out of the ordinary - go elsewhere.

Wanted a plant for a birthday present so needed it quickly, I spoke to someone on live chat to check if this was possible and they were very friendly and accommodating, I ordered it at about 3.30pm and had it delivered the next day by 12noon. The plant was packaged very well and was very healthy on arrival. I would definitely recommend this company and will use again in the future.

Absolutely fantastic. I have wanted an Alocasia Black Velvet for years but very expensive.
This was half the price of local garden centre and is so beautiful. True in size with beautiful large leaves.
The communication , delivery and packaging was outstanding.

I ordered 3 hoya plants and all of them have dead in less 2 months. There are some problems about plants.
1. Too much watery soil when 3 plants arrived.
2. Hoya leaves should be pliable and firm, but their hoya leaves are soft. It means the root rot a bit.
3. They repotted 3 small hoya cutting in one big pot (17cm) but each roots were too weak to grow.
4. Those of photos posted online were bit different in real when I got it.

Maybe I was not lucky enough. However, I would say their plant survival rate were too low.

Ordered a few plant babies from their wonderful selection during the NY break; unfortunately, one of the plants in the order had run out of stock by the time they were ready to ship. I was contacted by their customer support and was able to delay the order until it came back in stock. I only had to wait a week which was no issue for me to get the plants that I wanted :) (replacing the out of stock item was also given to me as an option in case I didn't want to wait)
The plants were very safely packaged, the only downside was the volume of polystyrene packing peanuts that I had to throw away - would be amazing if these could be replaced with something more recyclable / eco friendly :)
I am already browsing what my next order will be!

Excellent, service I cant fault this company. Especially, in this bus period of Christmas they managed to send out the plant within the 1-3 day timeframe they specified. However, where they went above and beyond was with there response time and information provided, when I had quires about a certain product and I wanted to know whether this would be a good plant for the space and where we are located. Would highly recommend.
