I have bought roses from Peter Beales for forty years and still intend to. They have all thrived and give us enormous pleasure. Visiting the centre at Attleborough is a great experience, plenty of help and advice, lots of shopping and a super café. (My latest purchase is a rose box)

Rose box was upright on delivery but on unpacking nearly all of the topping bark had emptied out into the box so looks as if the box had spent time upside down and possibly shaken to dislodge the bark!

I was very disappointed with the quality of this rose. It only had one decent shoot and when I removed it from its container all the stuff (root ball} just fell away leaving the bare roots. I did correctly dig a large hole and carefully planted it. It has substantially wilted and doesn’t look very healthy.

The potted roses arrived yesterday and they look very healthy and strong plants. Can't wait to see them bloom!

The order took six weeks to arrive, although the website stated that it would be dispatched in 5-7 days. I tried calling 5 times, and on two occasions there was no answer. I spoke to an agent on three occasions, and each time I was given a different reason for the delay. Finally about 30% of my order was sent to me, as the other items were out of stock. I will say that I was dutifully refunded for the roses that I did not receive. Overall a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this company.
