Really disappointed
Really disappointed. After looking on their website and speaking to Laura’s who confirmed lots of Kia’s in stock for us to look at we arranged viewings for 2 days later. After driving sn hour to get there we discovered the cars I was interested in were not on site. Her knowledge of the stock was terrible. I didn’t feel she cared if we bought a car or not. I was supposed to be driving a car with 8.000 only to be given one 81,000 miles with panels fallen off and it was filthy. She then seemed shocked when I didn’t agree to leave a non refundable deposit or agree to buy the one I was hoping to see without viewing it. My faith in her was rock bottom. She was so vague when the cars I wanted to buy would come I didn’t trust her enough to want to buy a car from them at all. Terrible customer service!!!

Bought a car for my wife over the phone…
Bought a car for my wife over the phone and service was initially excellent. I had a logistics company collect the car and that’s when it went downhill. The car arrived stinking of dog and there was actually large amounts of what looked like retriever hair under the front seats. I had to get the car properly valeted including the air con being recharged as the air vents were blasting out the smell of dog also. The worst part was the car arrived with one key. I feel spending 20k on a car this is appalling and I would recommend anyone looking to buy a car from Powerlease check the car has two keys as I am now £500 at my local BMW dealer for a key.

Dear Graham, We are very sorry to be reading your review and to hear you are not totally satisfied.
I believe this is in relation to a purchase of a BMW 1 series. We do prepare our vehicles to the highest of standards and all vehicles are fully valeted prior to collection, unfortunately in this case, your logistics company just turned up without a pre arranged appointment to collect the car, which meant we were unable to complete the valet on the car. Had this collection been booked, then this would have been completed.
In relation to the key, a used car will sometimes come with 1 key, we made you aware of this.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
If I could give this company a 0 rate I would! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! Go to a real dealer!!!
Spent £20k on a 19 plate BMW.
I haven’t even had the car 9 months and I am going to have to get rid of it.
From day 1 the SOS warning light and faulty indicator warnings have been a constant issue! Still not resolved!
The footwell is melted, the paint all down one side of the car is peeling off and the bumpers is unaligned…
After various visits to my local garage I have been advise to sell urgently.
According to my mechanic this seems to have been involved in a serious accident, the damage has been covered and sold on by powerlease. Please do bear in mind that we asked the question about any known accidents prior to buying!!! I was assured this car had been fully checked and was in sound condition with no known accidents!!!!
Today I have had the first MOT as the owner, FAIL! 4 wheels all been welded and one now cracked!
Hugh mistake going to these cowboys… DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
I have been sending emails and pictures of the damage for months now and no one cares! No solution given and frankly wasting my breath as well as the £20k I paid!

We are very sorry to be reading your review, however we strongly disagree with the contents of your review.
First of all, all of our vehicles are HPI clear and all of our vehicles go through thorough checks prior to sale.
Your vehicle passed an MOT last January with no advisories (independent to us). We have offered to have your vehicle back here to check your concerns, however, you have refused to bring it back for us to check. We have also given you the option of looking into buying the vehicle back from you.
Having checked the MOT fail from your vehicle online, which you refer to in your review, we can see you have covered around 4,000 miles in the car since purchase. The vehicle has failed on a single alloy being cracked, this is the only reason it has failed its MOT. If the car has all these issues you claim and was a death trap, this would appear on the MOT as further reasons for a failure. The alloy was not cracked when the vehicle was sold (proven by the previous MOT). This has happened during your own ownership. BMW alloys are prone to cracking and this is usually caused by hitting a pot hole. So the only reason it has failed is because of something that has happened whilst you own it and nothing else.
We have tried to offer to help and to check your concerns. This offer still remains.
Stay away bunch of Cowboys
Never in my life have i known of a dealer to not do a refundable deposit. Honestly worst experience to buy a car, they say their staff don’t work on commission and are proud of it but honestly the staff aren’t bothered. I saw a car online which only had 2 pictures, I called up and asked for a video, didn’t get one, car came on site they took some pictures missed the back of it and off it went to the prep centre. Nobody could tell me when it would come back or even anything about the car but they advertised it. I explained I’m interested even to Craig the sales manager (was not bothered in the slightest). Just wanted a picture of the back and I would be happy to buy it. Low and behold cars been taken of sale, sold and nobody even called me. What a joke of a company.

I feel we are reading this review because you missed out on the car, for which you had several opportunities to buy the car but you did not and the car sold to someone else.
I would just like to address the points you have made;
1. Deposits - we are a business who sells cars, we do not hold cars, whilst people decide if they want to buy it or not. When a customer is ready to commit, we will sell them the car and we offer all customers a 14 day money back guarantee, which includes the deposit.
2. Commission - we are proud that we do not pay our sales team a commission to sell the vehicle, this provides our customers with a much more enjoyable buying experience, all of which can be seen from reviews across a number of platforms.
3. Your Experience - You first called and spoke to 1 of our sales team about a BMW before it had arrived into stock. You did request more pictures and a video. When the vehicle arrived, it arrived along with 6 other cars late in the afternoon, all of these vehicles were due to go to the prep centre to be prepared for sale that same day. There was around 1 hours day light and all 6 cars had to be pictured before going to the prep centre. Unfortunately due to this there was not time to get a video before it went to the prep centre and unfortunately we were unable to get a full set of pictures. When you next called and spoke to the sales team, you then demanded to speak to the sales manager and you spoke with me, Craig. I re explained all of this to you and that the vehicle would be back after the weekend. You again asked about holding the car to which we said we could not, furthermore we had a lot of interest in the car, we already had 20 enquires on the car. You said you would not buy it until you had the extra pictures/video, this was fine and is totally your choice and we said we would get them as soon as the car was back but we did warn you that there was a high possibility that the vehicle would likely sell before it comes back on site. The vehicle did then sell to another customer who paid the initial deposit over the phone before then paying the remaining for the car straight away (this is why we would not hold the car as we could well have missed out on someone actually buying the car).
We then received another call from you just after it had sold, again demanding to speak to the sales manager, we spoke again, where you gave plenty of advice on how we should run our business and that you would be leaving this review.
We wish you all the best and wish you luck with a search for your new car.

Saw a car I liked and from the first phone call the staff I have spoken to have been helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Dan H, who stayed late on a Sunday so I could go for a test drive. Decided to purchase the car, Dan has been knowledgeable, friendly and helpful throughout. Would highly recommend.

I paid a holding deposit and intended…
I paid a holding deposit and intended to look at vehicle 2 days later. One day before viewing I was advised there was an issue with the Turbo (and therefore undrivable) but would I like to complete the deal. I said once the car is repaired I would be happy to buy it. 2 days after that I received a further phone call asking me to pay a substantial deposit to hold the vehicle even though it is not booked into Jaguar until the first week of October (roughly) Needless to say I declined this ridiculous transaction and todate I am still waiting for my Deposit to be returned. Not a pleasant experience

We unfortunately do not hold vehicles. When a deposit is left on our website, we will then reach out to the customer to complete the sale if they wish. If a customer does not wish to commit to buying the vehicle and complete the sale, then we simply refund the deposit which was paid online. All of our customers get a 14 day money back guarantee for added peace of mind from the day of collection. If a customer would like to see a vehicle before committing, then this is fine, however, the vehicle will remain on sale.
This was an unusual situation in that the vehicle did need to go into Jaguar, however, we explained this from the outset so you could make an informed decision in what you wished to do.
