This is our second time using Premier Solicitors. My sister previously used their conveyancing services and had a very positive experience, so we were happy to choose them again.
We mainly dealt with Yashodhara and Gayan, who were both very helpful and professional throughout. Everything was explained clearly, communication was excellent, and the work was completed efficiently and within the expected timeframe.

Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely use Premier Solicitors again in the future.

We were made to use Premier Solicitors as they were the preferred solicitor for Legal Planning Solutions (executor) for all matters relating to my late aunt's probate application. Whilst I appreciate that the probate process in 2024 was a lengthy one due to a backlog at the Probate Office created by the pandemic, Premier's lacklustre approach to this, lack of attention to detail, no accountability and lack of empathy made the whole process of applying for probate and selling a property a lot more painful than it needed to be. Things didn't get off to a good start when after providing all the information about my aunt's estate we were often asked to provide information that was already provided and in fact one investment was missed even though information was provided upfront about it, I had to contact Aviva and tell them to contact Premier directly as Permier said they couldn't find the details about it. It was clear from the outset that IHT would need to be paid yet Premier didn't apply for the necessary codes for months which with the slowness of HMRC and having to send codes via post elongated this first step of the process more than it should have been. Once the codes were received the papers , we were told were submitted to the Probate Office to apply for the grant however after 5 months and not hearing anything we were told that the grant of probate hadn't been applied for. Not only that but the para legal at Premier who was meant to have done it had gone on permanent sick leave and the person who took over her work didn't spot it hadn't been submitted either and had subsequently left the business too. We complained directly to the executor and Premier solicitors but the complaint was handed to, by now, our 3rd para legal dealing with the case who basically dismissed our complaint saying that she wasn't accountable for former members of staff. Matters were made worse by the executor leaving Legal Planning Solutions and the correct forms (a PA11) form needing to be signed by the executor who was living abroad (not Premier's fault but again there was a lack of urgency to get this matter resolved) We were told we had to use Premier's conveyancing team (rather than a local one of our choice) as their Probate team had all the information they would require yet on several occasions I was asked by the Conveyancing team for information the Probate team held, there was no communication between the 2 teams even though they were in the same building. When I queried a fee the Conveyancing team had taken that was on the settlement statement I was told I'd have to ask the conveyancing team myself not the para legal contact I usually spoke to. By now we were on our 4th Para Legal contact who, when pressed to see if the IHT had been paid following the sale of the property and therefore funds were available to pay it said she was waiting for HMRC to calculate the final figure due. When they finally did we had incurred additional interest for the delay in paying the IHT. When this was raised with HMRC they said that the solicitors should have been able to work out what the outstanding payment was and paid it without having to wait for HMRC to come back and tell them what it was.
I would never advise anyone to use Premier Solicitors  to handle a probate application and have told family members and friends that have got Legal Planning Solutions as the executor to remove them ASAP as they just pass all the work onto Premier.
There are many other examples of where Premier let us down which I'm not going to list here, but their general attitude seemed to be that they knew best and understood the process and how dare we question them.
No doubt Premier Solicitors will reply to this comment asking me to contact their complaints department but we're beyond that now, having not had a satisfactory reply from them before and will be taking this up with the Legal Ombudsman.

An excellent and professional service, we instructed Premier Solicitors for a Transfer of Equity, the whole process was completed in a timely and efficient manner, we were kept updated about the progress even without asking for an update. Many thanks to Divya and Nithmi who handled the process from start to end, they both make a great team and remained professional and courteous throughout, they were always available to answer any questions and always returned phone calls, thank you so much Divya and Nithmi. We would highly recommend this firm and will use them in the future.

I wanted to take a couple of minutes to write a review and thank Ryan and Bhavisha for their continued support, over a 5 month period, with the sale and purchase of my properties. They were very clear and responsive from day one. Having experienced first hand a lack of response and urgency within the sale chain, it was reassuring having them to rely on and update me regularly on progress. Also ensuring at the final stage to push exchange and completion through as quickly as possible. I have already recommended Premier Solicitors to two other people and would certainly recommend to more. Moving home is renowned for being a stressful period, so it’s good to have the support of a reliable and professional solicitor!

I cannot in any way fault Premier Solicitors, especially Gayan and Yashodara who dealt with my Transfer of Equity.
They were both friendly and polite in all my dealings with them and quickly completed my business. This was a difficult matter, fraught with delays and potential disputes on the other side, but they handled matters very professionally and got the job done. They kept me fully informed throughout the process but did not contact me unnecessarily to add to costs.
If I had to make any recommendation for improvement, the only thing I could say, was the funds exchange took 24 hours which worried me a little. But in honesty, Yashodara said that could happen and telephoned me the moment the funds moved across. This is also a bank issue rather than anything to do with Premier Solicitors and no doubt the banks need to make extra checks in a world where scams are so common.
I thoroughly recommend Premier Solicitors and I now intend to use them for my conveyancing.

1 star is the lowest I can put but I can’t stress how bad my experience was with premier, especially Adam Grey, zero Communication ability, Adam & Moses’ fingers so far from the pulse it was laughable, only plus side was Moses was contactable twice but confused the situation even more with these 2 calls. I’d rather sell my properties for half if the buyer promised not to use Adam Grey. Took over 4 months to process a bog standard sale, horrendous experience which caused excessive stress levels. Avoid at all cost 👍

I have just bought my first home, and I would like to thank Nithmi and Divya for their hard work in ensuring the purchase was completed as smoothly as possible. After contacting a few solicitors in and around the Bedford area to arrange probate we settled with Premier. The fees were all set out and explained, there were no hidden costs and came in cheaper than most of their rivals. They were always friendly and helpful right from my first contact with Fazia who explained everything. Once we signed the first initial lot of paperwork as a family we were assigned to Allison Howell to conduct all the necessary paperwork etc for grant of probate. She was very personable,friendly and thorough and explained and went through the various stages of the timeline and what to expect etc. She was always happy to answer any questions we may of had and always called back if we left a message for her. She was also very patient and diplomatic, as one member of the family was proving to be rather difficult and obstructive, therefore things took a little longer than they would normally, but we got there. We also used the conveyancing team to sort out the legal side of the family home, that was also dealt with quickly and smoothly.
