Go elsewhere for your number plates !
I ordered front and rear 3d number plates for my car but after approx. 4 weeks, one of the letters became unstuck on my front number plate and I informed Quick Plates, they sent a replacement number plate quite quickly, which was well received. However, after another two weeks, my rear number plate has the same issue.
I emailed Quick Plates with photos to show the issue with my rear plate to their enquiries email (same as when I reported the first issue), and I have not received any communication from them at all. I have now emailed them a further 3 times and I have yet to receive a response or any confirmation that they will resolve the issue with my faulty plate. I am very frustrated with the service, and I will not use them again. There is no contact telephone number, and I have also tried to contact them via their Instagram account but again no response !!!
I would recommend that you look elsewhere when buying your number plates as I presume that I have now lost my money. I will be contacting the trading standards in the UK as they are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Update 24th October 2025: although Quick Plates have replied to my review on Trust Pilot, I still have not received any contact via their only communication channel. I have checked all my email folders including junk/spam folder and still no response. They have my telephone number but have not tried to contact me through this channel. My last email was sent on 8th October 2025 and still no response. I have now had to purchase another set of plates from another supplier. My original statements still stand true.
Update 11th November 2025
I have sent Quick Plates a formal letter to their registered office address requesting a refund or legal proceedings would be taken. I have now received my refund, thank you Quick Plates! It should not come to this type of engagement to resolve the issue of a faulty product and as mentioned in my review I would avoid doing business with this company.

Improve notification of current legislation
The small print that you won’t receive the plates till you have submitted sufficient documentation should be made more clear, understandable that this is legislation and not optional but should be made clearer possibly at every step before paying.

This is the second time I have used Quick Plates and as the name suggests the whole process of ordering, manufacturing and receiving is Quick.
I ordered my plate late on a Tuesday night, the plate arrived on the Thursday.
I can't recommend highly enough.

Be very careful when ordering
Be very careful when ordering, the number plates are manufactured before you send the relevant documents. There is only one way to contact the company and that is via their contact form on their website but you get no proof of correspondence, if you ring the telephone number given it is a recorded message telling you to contact them via their website!! I tried to cancel within moments of ordering due to a mistake, I was told the plates had already been manufactured and they would be no refund, even though I had not sent documents saying I was the registered keeper. Poor Customer Service

We do state clearly before checkout that once an order is placed and enters production, it cannot be cancelled — however, if a message is sent immediately, we always attempt to intercept the order before it begins. If it has already entered production, that means the process had already started very quickly.
We do reply to all contact form submissions — if you didn’t see a response, please check your junk/spam folder as emails can sometimes land there.

The company name fits the service …
Searched on-line as my local number plate manufacturer were unable to supply the rear plate due to having no yellow background. Quick plates process was remarkably easy, choosing the style size etc and uploading the relevant proof of ownership documents.

Really easy and efficient service. Had to prove that I owned the car with a couple of documents but to be fair, this just proves they're legitimate and not sending out false plates to just anyone. Very trustworthy!
