Repair Network Avis 

Their chosen contractor (Capital Repairs) was VERY poor, so we initially got a poor impression of Repair Network. But eventually (7 months later, after two failed attempts to repair our microwave), when Repair Network themselves got involved (Nazmeen and her manager Andrew), things were sorted very quickly and helpfully. This is a risk when using central agencies that subcontract work out to others - a risk to the customer who suffers poor performance, but also to the reputation of the prime contractor.
Still, all's well that ends well - eventually!

It is hard to fathom how a company like this can continue to trade, yet there it is: boundless miscommunication, parts paid for, brought to the house but mysteriously not installed, a cowboy “repair” that caused water to flood inside my machine, rendering it inoperable and putting me in danger, a personal possession gone walkabout, a police complaint, a report to Trading Standards, and an abusive phone call from the company on a Sunday afternoon after I dared to complain. “Would you please send someone to verify that the repairs have not been done?” I asked. Came the reply: “No.”

I should have known. First red flag? What feels like a trap when you’ve barely finished filling in the online service request and you get a phone call soliciting an up-front charge. Second red flag? No paperwork. Or none that matters, such as a list of what work needs to be done. Unsurprisingly, when the “engineer” showed up, he came empty-handed.

It’s really very simple. Go local. There will be someone in your town or the next town over who has been trading for a long time and knows what he is doing. He doesn’t have a glossy website making extravagant promises and he won’t send a twenty-something-year-old sociopath to your house who will nick your stuff.

(No, I don't know where the glowing 5-star reviews come from either. Maybe I'm just very, very unlucky?)

The lady whom responded to my request - Nazmeen Rehman - was very helpful in sorting out my request for a new Rangemaster Toledo to replace the oven which the on-board computer had blown 3 of the induction rings. She organised the new oven and the very friendly and courteous team to deliver it very quickly and on a convenient date and time to suit me. Well done Repair Network!

Great service, James was very helpful and my cooker was fixed within days.

Needed a repair to RangeMaster cooker and contacted company online and received call-back within 2 minutes! We spoke on a Saturday lunchtime and I was told to expect a call on Monday for a mid-week repair - wait was a disappoint. Yet 10 minutes later that same day a repair technician called and said he could be with us that afternoon. Sure enough, nice chap turned up, found fault(s) and repaired there and then within an hour.
So my experience was 5* as you can read.

Had a AEG oven that wouldn’t hold its heat called repair network engineer came out ordered new part was up and running just in time for the kids dinner

had a broken fridge freezer called Repair network they gave me a package deal and my fridge is now back working just before Xmas. Amazing service

Andrew was extremely helpful and polite. Nothing was to much for him

Had issues with my neff oven, spoke to Naz who was helpful and repair was completed within a week

They were very helpful when my freezer could not be repaired arranged a new one with discount all I had to do was pick one it’s getting delivered and the old one removed now that’s a gold standard service

My oven was mended with minimum fuss by a friendly and experienced engineer

Excellent service. Was phoned back within a minute by James, who was courteous and helpful.The engineer was professional and efficient and sorted the problem quickly. Would highly recommend.

A prompt response quickly led to us being given a local contact and the repair was effected to our satisfaction. What also impressed was the regular phone calls from James to check progress and to ensure that we were content. The latter is missing from so many comopanies these days.

James quickly found an engineer who visited promptly, returning soon with parts to complete the repairs he also suggested a payment option that saved a few pounds , thanks for that 👍

Really helpful before booking repair. I was a bit sceptical not sure what to expect but really impressed with service engineer who was polite knowledgeable turned up on time ordered the parts and came back to fit From start to finish Repair Network kept in touch and followed the repair all the way. Would definitely use them again
